whooaaaaa it's a first 4.2.2 rom that i try video recording on instagram and it's work!!!!!!!!!!! Whole system is fast. i have a problems with adding widgets. i think it's Zeam launcher problems.

I really want to test this rom but i have one little question.
Is the 8mp photo stretched? I asked this because in other roms i try 4.2.2 camera app and the 8mp photo was a bit stretched.

yes all rom with jellybean base photo in camera looks like stretched because there's no official camera lib from sony support for jellybean
if you like cybershot or not to looks like strecthed use ICS rom base.

So what should the setting for camera be on this rom?

And unfortunately my Instagram could not work. Any idea why? It says the camera didn't meet the requirements.

Try using old version of instagram ( v3.2 )

idk about rizal's camera because i'm not use it, but if u want to improve camera u can use with gandhar camera jb for xperia 2011's

I'll give a try, first time I'll use JB 4.2 .
I have a question : Is the update easier than wipping everything and starting afresh from scratch ? I mean from 11/07 to 21/07 version, is there a way to do the update only by wipping cache and dalvik or this won't work ?

what keeps me away from 4.2 is FM radio. and all other roms FM not works at all.

if u say it works in your ROm is there anyway that it can work without bluetooth on? i know it use same radio chip .

i flashed it and i am getting errors: com.android.phone and com.android.messaging crashed and cannot use it.

Some mods

Okay, After using it for a good while I can tell the ROM is amazing, stable and very battery friendly.

If anyone likes Sony style, here's the list of mods you can use(tried and tested all myself with this ROM, but I'd still recommend a CWM backup first)

1) The UXP theme provided, apply it and reboot. Its simply amazing! Does the most job.

2) Launchers :

1. You can flash this Xperia Z launcher and its widgets
Flash launcher > reboot > wait a minute > reboot into CWM > flash widgets > reboot
2. or this Hybrid Xperia Launcher (this is the one I liked) Its a simple apk file, so no need to flash or anything.
3. You can also use Xperia GX launcher on this, pm me for how to use it.

3)Increase Internal memory
Flash Lupus/Fusion kernel and follow the procedure mentioned, reboot, later you can reflash the kernel provided with the ROM, else you'll get boot loops if you try to install it with the kernel provided.

There were more which I forgot xD will add more once I remember :silly:



For now I have to return to ICS, since I like taking maximum space on my phone's screen and Serajr's transparent won't work with this :/ (Check screenshots to know what I'm talking about)

If someone could find/make the status bar look like that with with quick toggles I'd gladly return to JB. xD

A few days ago i asked if in this rom the 8mp photos were streched. Well, they are. But for those who didn´t want this you can download Legacycamera that is in the addons webpage in the op and then move to /system/apps and give the correct permision (rw,r-,r-)
