Hi mate I have not so good news, after testing for months nougat on my Xperia Z3 I do not recommend it for some reasons that I will describe below:
1. The charging time of the battery is very bad, not to say ..... (it runs out very fast advice you should use two mobile devices to spend the day).
3. Can not change anything to improve the use this I mean the kernel. (You can install mods but it will not happen.
4. Poor quality audio.
5. Among other smaller ones.
The advantages a lot of Ram free good fluidity in the system.
I currently return to MM. I no longer support problems with the load and can not control certain kernel options. And something very important for me personally the audio.
The one that seems most stable is: (Resurection Remix 5.8.5) the link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/orig-development/rom-resurection-remix-5-8-4-t3670491

Postscript I admit that the effort that the developers put in bringing Nougat or Oreo to our devices is very big, for my part I congratulate them for it.

Hello friend, you have to follow these steps, I hope and have the bootloader open and with a backup of your DRM.
1 Being in MM 23.5.A.1.291 you have to install this (the credits to @xkeita)

Follow these steps to install:;)
If it's your first time flashing it, unpack recovery.img and flash it via fastboot with the following command: fastboot flash FOTAKernel <filename>
Postscript the official link with more data and information.

2 In the cell phone enter in TWRP (Maintain volume down & power until you see twrp splash screen) verify the version of TWRP continue with the rest:
3 Have your ROM Nougat preferably ready to install with your downloaded Gapps I recommend the aroma version of the Gapps, have these files in your SDcard.
4 do this (Wipe system, cache and data).
5 Proceed to install your Rom and Gapp files. (wait until you finish installing restart wait for the first boot.
6 Enjoy trying Nougat.:D
