The heat restrictions are kinda nutty on the Oneplus 10 pro. . There has to be a way to edit or shut off the heat restrictions in Android or with this phone.. does anyone know a way?

There's an LSposed module called Lucky Tool that has this function but i don't know if it works. I haven't tried it yet.

I would tread very very carefully removing failsafes, there's a good reason why they exist.

I wouldn't say they're nutty I'd say removing them is.

Wondering in what scenario you'd need to disable this feature for?

I play switch games and Vita; both of which are probably the most demanding things that pretty much any device will be required to do and I have never seen an overheating warning.

It wont let me even take videos while in restriction, and i think the restriction is not even that hot. Its just super annoying and seems to be just with the ONEPLUS series . . .Google Pixel and others that I have had in the past do not have such TIGHT restrictions. I play ingress alot. . . but I dont care about that too much I also in the sunlight hate how it auto tints rapidly . . .

My device has never overheated, it's possible your SOC is seated imperfectly, so it won't cool correctly, if that's the case then you'd need to return it and get a swap, you should be able to do anything without it overheating, unless you're in a seriously hot part of the world.

My money's on a defected contact on your SOCs cooler.

Once again it seems to be just when using the camera app 4k videos and 8k it says the phone is too hot.. but when I use other camera apps it allows it also third party apps such as Instagram and such it works but that's a lower quality video .. so is there a setting in the camera app or something that I can edit..??

Well I noticed for the first time that Google photos won't back up if it's over 40c... Never seen that before.
