How can I enable VOLTE & WiFi calls in Mate 30 Pro 5G (LIO-AN00 chinese) ??

Hi, I'm trying to enable VOLTE and WiFi calls my I didn't find this setting on my Mate 30 Pro.

It's a chinese device LIO-AN00 but I don't know if this version has added it or not, and if it does I don't know how to enable it.

Or maybe I have to ask my network operator? -> Movistar Spain

Even I tried it using "settings database editor" app but it was impossible because my Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G LIO-AN00 doesn`t have "hw_networkmode_preference" to edit value -> Check this video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpLlo19vgpk

Hi mate the link you shared shows how you can get 4g lte only mode in network not VOLTE plus doing this doesn't work for purpose it is intended(getting 4g only mode in mate 30 pro)

There is this issue with mate 30 pro volte for which there no fix till now I have been looking for a fix from past 4 months.

I have contacted huawei customer support china as well but problem is device is not launched in many places so network operators haven't been able to get volte configured and tested on device

Did you try adding the key in set edit app? I have AN Chinese version and put a guide to getting VoLTE set up. It works on my sim 2 just fine.

Because Mate 30 Pro haven't got it.

Try this first, see if you get the icon shown..I am using EE for my VoLTE on sim 2.

I watched your thread but I think it's veru difficult for me.
I downloaded the app and I added "hw_networkmode_preference" row with 9,3,2,1,11 value.
And then I reboot my phone.
Then I maked a call but still in 3G call.

I am sorry then, I cannot help. Mine works in 3 or 4G so may be it is your provider. At least you will be ready for when they make it available.

I called to my network provider and they said to me that 4G VOLTE voice service is enabled but Mate 30 Pro they haven't got in compatible phones list.

They said to me that I have to enable from my phone, but my phone haven't got this settings because it's a Mate 30 Pro 5G LIO-AN00 from China.

Then you check what all bands An00 model supports for fdd lte and tdd lte and then check on which band does your network operator provide services. If all match just ask huawei support china to provide a patch.

Hi, are you sure that your Mate 30 Pro chinese has VoLTE service callings ??? I received an email from official care Chinese Huawei and they said to me this:

Thank you for contacting us.
Regarding the situation mentioned by you,We are so sorry for the bad experience.Maybe the equipment you purchased is a domestic version, there may be some functions that can not be used properly overseas.We suggest that you can consult the local dealer to purchase an overseas version for use.Please understand the inconvenience!

Have you then been able to enable this service on your Mate 30 Pro chinese? Waiting for my network provider to enable the Mate 30 Pro for me to use the VoLTE service, do I just have to do what you put in the YouTube video?
That is, I just have to create the parameter "hw_networkmode_preference" and give it the value 9,3,2,1,11?
Do I also need to create the parameter "hw_networkmode_gstyle" that I don't have?
Are these values in case I have selected the 5G / 4G / 3G / 2G mode on the Huawei, or should I only carry it 4G / 3G / 2G? Because 4G value only I don't have it.

This feature requires the local Mobile telecom carriers support. For the domestic version of mobile phone to go overseas, the phone needs to use overseas SIM card and support overseas 4G band to use VoLTE. The volte of a small number of overseas Mobile telecom carriers is not open. The specific usage is subject to the local Mobile telecom carrier.

Yes, mine is working on EE in the UK. I have the status bar symbol, I am able to turn it on and off from the menu. I done far more than adding one line if text! Re-read my post on what I did with screenshots.
It may be that your network provider has not authorised it or it is not available where you are, if this is the case, then you need to ensure you can use it before trying to get it.

Once my Spanish network provider authorizes VoLTE to Mate 30 Pro, can I use your method ?.
There is something in your method that is not clear to me: I have a 5G / 4G / 3G / 2G network and a 4G / 3G / 2G network. Which one do I choose? Having 5G, is there any more value than 9,3,2,1,11?
My Mate 30 Pro is LIO-AN00 chinese version.
