It is up to you, the settings will not hurt. Huawei has said that they may not add the settings as China doesn't use it. At least you will be ready when and if your provider does.
Ok, thanks !!

I change my SIM card to another phone in order to make a test, a Moto X4 from Motorola.
I made a call and it's the same -> Change from 4G to 3G.

@Sathelp
What is your Network provider in UK ???
It's strange that it works for you and for me not both having the same Chinese phone, right?

I have Sky on sim 1 and EE in sin 2. VoLTE works only with EE
Hi again @Sathelp

I did this:
To get a voice over WIFI (VoWIFI) shortcut I used this thread on XDA.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...o-activate-wifi-calling-mate-20-t3922060/amp/
I installed Action Launcher and I could select WLAN Callings with a small icon like yours.

After that I would like to uninstall Action Launcher because I don't use it.
How can I manage that WLAN Callings icon to place at the Mate 30 Pro desktop ???

@Sathelp

I saw that in order to enable WiFi callings at Action Launcher app there is a key called: .settingsWiFicallings

Is it possible to enable by using Settings Database Editor app ??? Where is it if it possible ??

I have this feature but I think is hidden on myy Mate 30 Pro LIO-AN00.

Yes, there is. Everything I did is on my original thread and in the image I attached. Please read or translate the original.

And of course, by nature, Voice over LTE is only available on 4Gs data encapsulation. So no 4G, no VoLTE.

Ok, I can do it but ... can I uninstall Active Launcher after that?

How can I place the WiFi calling icon from Active Launcher to the Mate 30 Pro desktop ??? ... or if I enable WiFi callings from Active Launcher, then this feature is enabled even I uninstall Active Launcher after that ??

You need to talk to Clark gable who wrote the article about the shortcuts. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79350933&postcount=1
Hi @Sathelp

@clarkgable has no longer his Mate 20 Pro so he can't help me :(

Anyway:

wfc_ims_enabled_0 with value "1"
wfc_ims_enabled_1 with value "1"
volte_vt_enabled with value "1"

What is value =1 ?? What is the difference between value 1 and 0 ???

I'm trying why are VoLTE callings working at your Mate 30 Pro chinese LIO-AN00 and why not at mine if we have the same phone and I did the same process as you described ...

Sim 1 = 0, SIM2=1.
You are using a different opperator, different country, different areas mast and equipment. There are many reasons why. I cannot explain, I have only showed you how to enable. Good luck my friend but I can't help you much more.

I asked you about this value in red colour:
wfc_ims_enabled_0 "1"
wfc_ims_enabled_1 "1"

What is 1 ??? and if the value would be 0 ??

wfc_ims_enabled_0 "0"
wfc_ims_enabled_1 "0"

Yes, shown in menu or not shown
Hi @Sathelp
There is a key that I found it.
I know what can I do in order to make Mate 30 Pro menu show the icon to switch on VoLTE button into its menu options:

Just I have to change this line using Settings Database Editor:

At "ANDROID PROPERTIES TABLE" change ro.config.hw_volte_dyn=true to ro.config.hw_volte_dyn=false.

But I can't. Why?. I attach you a screenshot. And using adb comand can't too.

I think this setting is in the build prop file. You need root access if it is. Mine is as below and mine works wirhout changing tbis setting.
It's a pity because it is a line that I would like to change, and if it is blocked to use the Settings Database Editor app, it may be because of the root.

I don't think anyone at XDA can tell me how I could access this line to modify it, right? ... :(

Is there someone from XDA development who can give a clue how to change this parameter ro.config.hw_volte_dyn from "true" to "false"at Huawei's Android Properties table? Or maybe Huawei should release a small update by OTA adding this setting?

EDIT: I forgot another needed command -> "ro.config.hw_volte_show_switch" "true". And that's all !!! :)
