For a flashing we need.
  1. It is advisable to make a copy of the section with the MCU set after flashing from the computer, there is a possibility that they will be deleted
    Backup_copy.zip(76.56 KB) 1450 downloads
  2. Firmware with the correct resolution for your screen.
    • Screens 1024x600 and 800x480 - stitched with one firmware
    • 1280x480 screen - if there is no firmware for this screen, then you need to flash the firmware from a 1024x600 screen and then update the resolution file separately via system updates
  3. Computer or laptop
  4. USB cable male-male
  5. And understanding what you are doing

Step-by-step instructions for the firmware
  1. Download firmware in IMG format
  2. Get it out of the archive
  3. It is advisable to put it in the root of the disk
  4. Download software for PC PhoenixSuit V1.10 - click here
  5. Download the program for the GU, which switches devices to firmware mode from a PC
    com.tw.updatepc.zip(8.41 KB) 1345 downloads
  6. Install downloaded applications on devices
  7. Do not connect anything to the GU, run the applications, agree with the proposal and the GU will go into firmware mode. The screen will be blank, only backlight.
  8. Launch Phoenix
  9. Select the previously downloaded firmware in IMG format
  10. Connect HU to PC via USB cable
  11. After connecting, the connection sound should be heard (if it was not, change the tail in the GU to another)
  12. Go to Device Manager and update the driver, this procedure must be done 2 times (the driver is in the phoenix folder )
  13. Then a window will pop up asking you, press YES 2 times , this is a request for a complete cleaning of your device
  14. Approximate firmware time 2 minutes
