How do I add Samsung Pay (US) to SM-G950FD Dual Sim variant?

Received my AMEX card today and cannot add it to Samsung Pay. When I punched in my information, it wanted a Singapore address. Manually selecting US and providing correct info still yielded "Failed to verify blah blah contact card issuer". Only company that presented an issue.

That would seem to be it; I had the same error. I happen to also have an AMEX based in Singapore and that added no problem. Haven't found a way to remove the SG version of Samsung Pay and replace it with the US version - perhaps someone else will figure it out. Bummer as the SG version that comes on the Duos doesn't seem to have points/rewards while the US version that was on my AT&T SGS8 does. Thanks for checking on your end.

FWIW, I had a US version of the S8 and had no luck reinstalling the US framework and app on my phone. It wouldn't let the framework install but i'm not an expert in this so may have done something wrong. The app installed but didn't work

Samsung Pay not working

I bought Galaxy s8 G950FD from eBay, using the phone info app I found that I got the Afghanistan version.
I downloaded Samsung Pay from Google play knowing I have Att Sim in my phone, I opened the S-PAY and it's not working keeps saying "connection error" and couldn't proceed the first initial screen.

Any help please?

I'm pretty positive Samsung pay framework uses carrier region to check and verify what cards you can and can't use. To avoid people being able to do this. So regardless what version you use on what device, it most likely won't work

Samsung pay is on hardcore lock given it is used just like an actual card, it has to have as much protection.

on my S7 Edge I had it from ebay with EGY- EGYPT firmware so I flashed XSG (UAE firmware) and the SPAY worked, I can add all American credit card but not my Bluecash preffered AMEX it keeps saying it's not supported.

So on my new S8 G950FD, I got it also from Ebay I found that I got the AFG - Afghanistan firmware and now I wanna do the same and flash the XSG - UAE firmware on it.

Any luck finding the G950FD XSG firmware?

The UAE firmware doesn't seem to be added to SamMobile or any other website yet :/

So I got my phone from EBAY with AFG (Afghanistan firmware), you think if I flashed the XSG (UAE firmware) that Samsung Pay will work on my phone?
Should I flash CSC or home_CSC on Odin?
Knowing that I have AT&T sim in my phone.

I'm having the same issue, I'm from Australia and purchased a GG950FD Taiwanese version and Samsung Pay is only compatible with Taiwanese cards...

I'm thinking if I reflash the phone to an Australian ROM it might fix it, but I'm not sure if I lose the dual SIM capabilities... Any suggestions?

Since almost all the international S8/S8+s are on the multi CSC ROM, all you need to do is find a SIM from one of the SPAY supported countries (India, Singapore, UAE, UK works) and reset your phone (preferably from the recovery menu) and put in the SIM and reboot. All the regional features are activated, and you get SPAY to work even after changing your SIMs.

I am currently using the India SPAY and it works with all cards (Chase, Amex, Citi are what I have checked). Of course you won't get Samsung rewards since its a program only available in US.

tl;dr No need to flash ROMs. Only reset required.

My phone came from Singapore and the Samsung Pay is Singapore Specific (local offers, etc.) I had no problem adding my mastercard debit card from the USA or my Singapore-based AMEX card but the Samsung Pay site specifically says only AMEX cards issued in Singapore can be added and my US AMEX card didn't work. No problem adding it to Samsung Pay for my Samsung Gear S3 watch but no joy with the phone itself.

So, has anybody flashed the UAE firmware and it actually gave you the ability to have the US SPay? I have the Malaysian model and SPay works albeit I only get Malaysian offers.

Download Samsung Pay 2.7.03 apk from apkmirror (this version only!). You will be able to use US cards, Samsung Rewards and everything else.

Thanks that worked! Was able to add my USA Bank of America card. Just a question though.. is there any way to update the Spay app? As i downloaded 2.7.03 from apkmirror i noticed this is an old version. Searching for spay on the playstore says im up to date

It isn't. Any version beyond 2.7.03 at the moment is Korean SIM only.

It will auto update from the PlayStore whenever new versions for your region are available.

Another question: Reading earlier into this thread does this method work only for UAE phones? This wont work on other non UAE phones like the other person who has a Singapore variant?
