How do I remove the image from the sdcard?

How do I bring the storage back to my sdcard? I burned the autonooter image to it and now after formatting it is only has 39mb.

You have to format the card. Take it out of your Nook. Boot your Nook. Let the stock ROM load. Once it's loaded insert your card back into the Nook. Then go to settings and unmount the card, then use the format option.

You can also try a full format (not quick) from windows, I haven't tried that so I can't say for certain that would work.

I reformatted using my laptop still says 39mb.

It performs a lower level format on cards, removing the parititioning and whatever else is done from the image.

I format it in my Canon camera, it's too dumb to know about partitions.
