i have a samsung galaxy s I9000 its on android 2.3.3 gingerbread the build number is GINGERBREAD.BUJVA . How can i root it without loosing all of my data? any help would be greatly appreciated THX

Check that devices "Development" section on the forums

Try aio i9000 toolbox, by bay wolf, in development section I think.
