How fast/slow is your One M8?

Hi,

I am running Marshmallow on my device, using the Google Now launcher. Often, the device is very slow, even after a restart. I just saw a Nexus 6P in action with Android 7 and its performance is way faster. Of course, the 6P two years newer, but I didn't except the M8 to feel so slow so fast.

Maybe I'm just doing something wrong with my device, I don't know. I feel tempted to re-install a stock ROM (maybe the Google Play Edition) and start from scratch, but it's a chore.

Try stock GPE rom H15 + latest SkyDragon v.1 kernel.

I'm running stock Marshmallow (US developer edition), and I'm completely satisfied with my M8's performance. It only shows its age with certain graphically intensive apps, but otherwise it still feels as fast as it did on day 1.

Sometimes my device is super fast, and sometimes it's so slow that it takes 3 seconds for an animation to start.
