How I fixed my bad GPS..

OK, I've actually gone ahead and replaced the whole bottom part of the G5 phone, mostly because of the bad mic but also in hopes it might fix my GPS signal but it hasn't. My phone is still confused as ever about its location and from mostly 22 satellites that it should see it doesn't see any! :crying:

I give up trying to fix the stupid GPS in this stupid phone.

My only issue is that I've unlocked the bootloader and rooted it. Otherwise, I'd have 0 qualm about turning this crap phone (which is sad, because I despise how Samsung has gotten with their phones) and getting another device.

So, I used the wire coil method, and the method that required cleaning off the mesh contact pad.

Immediate results! Indoors still kinda sucks, but got solid locks outdoors. I can actually use my phone now!

Here are some pics

The three pins are not for GPS they are for the volume rocker I tested myself but I fixed my GPS the GPS is on the left corner of the phone when it's open on the motherboard I tested today the hole day and constantly 13 to 20 satellite fixed without drops

I'm also facing GPS problem on my G5 for past some time. Mine is Dual Hybrid SIM Model H860 Indian version.

Here in India LG does not accept it as Manufacturing fault and are asking an axhorbitant charges for repair which is almost half of the Mobile price.

Can you help me...

Sorry but my triing to fix the gps ended buing a new phone i opend servel times the phone to clean and so on for one day the gps was okay and after again the same **** so i left the G5 and took a samsung s8 and now the s9
