How is GPS?

Just got my AT&T Galaxy S2 yesterday, and of course, coming from a Captivate, one of the first things I did was load up a few GPS testing programs...

Happy to report the GPS does indeed work very well. First lock took maybe 5-6 seconds outside? And even inside I can get a fairly strong lock as well.

Haven't used it for navigation yet, but seems like the fancy new SirfStar IV chip in there is really doing what it's supposed to!

Damn now I really cannot wait, my captivate would sometimes never lock and when it did lock, would not stay locked for very long. After the gps fixes that have come along, the initial lock would be as soon as 15 seconds up to 1.5 minuets and then drop the lock rather quickly. And if my sgs2 that is coming, this phone sounds like it will be a hell of a lot better and I am finally excited to get something with accurate gps for navigation purposes..

You guys stop now! No need to remind me the nightmare with my Captivate! That's the sole reason I sold my Captivate even before I bought my GS2.
