I got my phone last night but am most excited for the Gear VR. It is on back order though so it didn't come. Has anyone else received theirs? If so how is it?

I ordered my phone on 2/23, but have not seen it yet. I did, however, receive the Gear VR on 2/24. That was some of the fastest shipping I have ever seen.
My wife has the S6 so we are able to use the VR with that until my phone arrives. I personally haven't put a lot of time in with it, but what I've done with it I really enjoy. The 360 degree videos are pretty amazing. The unit is able to smoothly track the smallest head movement. I haven't really installed games to try because I don't want to eat up all of the space on her phone. No expandable storage on the S6 you know.
Oh, her phone overheats in the VR pretty quickly when watching a 360 video. I'm hoping that the cooling on the S7 is able to handle it, and give some extra time before getting too hot.

I have it for GS6 Edge+ and it's amazing, will certainly blow your mind. Don't expect hd resolutions on videos in the gear vr, we will have to wait for 4k screens for that. There is a great community for the GearVR in Reddit you can go there for great finds, tips, etc.
I got mine with my Verizon s7. I have a Asus zenwatch already. To be honest me and my fiance are completely blown away. I hadn't used vr in modern times. Really is amazing and I can't wait to get it hooked up with Nvidia shield and playing elite dangerous my favorite part game
My Sprint store rep didn't say anything about the games. What do we do to claim the games?

I got mine Monday at best buy with my phone. Didn't get time to play with it until last night. I have to say, I was extremely impressed and surprised at how cool it is and how well it works. The wife and I had a lot of fun with it last night doing different pictures and videos.
My S7 did get pretty warm but never shut down and everything was smooth and seemed to work well. I might have to get a game to try. If nothing else it will be a cool party toy for the next year lol.

I messed with it a little last night, pretty neat. Then I heard a knock on the door, ups delivered a 2nd VR! So I ended up with 2, all I can figure is that I contacted sprint because I had no order # for the VR and asked them if it was actually placed, and it was. Not sure why I got 2,but I won't complain, lol.
Must be nice lol.. btw its the 11th. How we get the free VR games m anyone knows?

I'm guessing that's the six.

Yea, those are the ones, I downloaded the app and they auto-installed. I haven't played them yet though.
Im pissed, I bought my phone outright on an upgrade, actually 3. sprint refuses to send me the VR since I didnt lease the phone, BS!

I'm on easy pay, that's BS. I am pretty sure that you still get it as long as you pre ordered.
Nope, i even escalted it, they said no. Its a business plan, so cant upgrade at BB.
I bought mine outright. No easy pay, no lease. I ordered my phone on 2/23 and had the VR in hand on 2/24. I was very impressed with the shipping speed.
Did I miss something? I have my pre-ordered S7 Edge and my Gear VR. I'm not seeing the 6 game pack. I tried on of the titles on the above list, but it wants me to purchase it. Other than registering when you first use the VR, I haven't done anything special.
