And I'm wondering what the ration actually is, a person that has a 100% working tablet would not create a topic to complain, so we see a lot of complaints and less praise.

I've had the tablet for a few days now, so far I'm happy with it. Of course something could always be better.

Stock. I was very unhappy. Now rooted and rom'd I'm very happy. The stock software does not seem optimized at all.

I'm very happy. I was OK with stock. I'm still on stock now but rooted which is much better.

Had mine a few weeks now and loving it, still on stock .30, but rooted and using Adway to block adds and AutoStarts to stop unwanted apps loading at boot :)

Coming from an Advent Vega running a custom ICS, this is a pleasure to use.

Stock .30, rooted and very happy (except for the moments when the browser lags). I'll wait for the JB update and if I don't like it I'll just move to the custom ROMs.

loved mine untill it broke - sofar from the tabs is tested/used its the best imo (if you unlock it and use aokp or similar)
i also use an A700 and compared to the tf300 its not even near. it got better with the new alpha custom rom that pawitp release 2 days ago but compared to my tf300 with aokp its nothing (also the GP10.1 & 10.1N are not in its league)

TF300 + Nexus 7 as companion device = Batman & Robin of the Tab world ;)

cheers

on stock i was a bit disappointed in the performance, but after rooting and using Brows2RAM....i am very satisfied with my purchase.

anyone that is having browser hangs, i suggest searching browse2ram on the xda forums...it helps a lot with the browser hang.

As everyone has stated, stock was just ok. I use the browser a lot so at first I was disappointed. I immediately rooted and installed browser to ram, but I was still wanting a little more performance out of it. So when seanz posted Asus-Hydro, I was really excited because I was wanting an optimized, stock-based rom. After a few weeks running it I can safely say I am 100% satisfied with the tablet.

I'm very satisfied with my TF300T. The only things I really don't like aren't related to the tablet at all and may not even really be Android related. There are several apps that I would like to use that are available on iOS that just don't have any decent Android counterparts. I'm not really a fan of iOS overall, however, so I wouldn't ever get an iPad.

The stock ROM on the TF300T had numerous browser issues, but since I've switched to AOKP, I haven't noticed any issues with it.

Also, happy with stock and rooted. I experience some browser-lag, but nothing is this world is perfect. Coming from ICS on the Wetab (x86 Atom tablet, originally with linux) the TF300T is really good.

Edit: changed this morning to the Hydro ICS ROM, which is nice (a bit snappier)

I'm pretty disappointed that the build quality is so bad.. the screen moves, I get bleeding light from the corners. There is so many things that could of been better. It feels like it is about to fall apart. Aside from the hardware, there is like nothing that takes advantage of the Tegra 3. Plus most video players can't even handle the stuff I am watching. Don't comment on videoplayers to try, I have tried them all.

Im fairly satisfied. Rooted and on a stock based ROM. My only complaint is it feels slower than my Xoom and my Xoom only is a dual core... but i havent tried all the ROMS available for this yet... im about to flash CM10 actually.... lol but may try the ASUS-Hydro one mentioned earlier instead.

Extremely satisfied with my TF300T. I have been running the AOKP Jellybean ROM since it's release and it has blown my mind away.

This tablet has been everything I could have desired, plus some. It has easily been one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I was a bit dissapointed for a month even after rooting and running CM9.
the reason was slow browsing, i kept wondering, how the hell can a quadcore browse slower than my dualcore phone
today i found browser2ram, i can now say that i am 100% satisfied

root+CM9+browser2ram equals awesome tablet :)

:highfive:
