I would be extremely happy with my tablet but unfortunately mine is one of the "invalid serial number" units.

Other than that, its one of the best pieces of tech I've ever owned.

Some devices cant be unlocked because Asus dosnt have there serial number in there database so the unlock app returns that error. or something like that.

And i love this tablet outside of the browser being a little on the slow side.

I guess I got a good one out of the box because even with stock I have been happy with it.

I just now installed the browser2ram thingie and it sped it up just a tad. I never really had any hang before so maybe I'm an exception to the rule.

Rooting brought me ad blocking and backups. What else is there cuz everyone keeps saying how their tablet got better with rooting and I could probley do without and never miss it.

I want to install some JB but I was reading your stuck on Balanced processing power. I need the Performance one for Zen pinball to run smoothly. I'm addicted to that game.

Other then that I do spend most of my time browsing ebay as thats how I make my living and the market app for ebay sucks ass. So anything I can do to speed up browser more would be great. I tether 4g LTE from my phone and it runs pretty fast but faster is always better.

I have and use a ton of different browsers like Firefox (not quite there, almost tho), Chrome (syncing!), stock browser, Overskreen (windowed!), Opera, and Dolphin. I find myself using Dolphin the most because I have all my important bookmarks already in it and the Sonar is definately nice.

I take the tablet with me everywhere. I needed a new vacuum the other day and I was in a dept store with it scanning barcodes with the Amazon app to get reviews. I head to my buddys storage and we use the Craigslist ad to create a instant yard sale using the camera on it.

We have an iPad2 also and I never use it. The lack of a file system has made posting on ebay practically useless to me.
Ebay app in conjuction with my dropbox has been great on my Transformer.

Zen pinball runs fine on asus hydro rom on balanced mode.. Its well worth the unlock. Added Google Now to it also so you get jb action and more!

I got mine yesterday and I'm already in love with it. I was going to wait for the Infinity but I couldn't justify the price difference.

I've rooted it so I can get things like Adaway on there, that was painless, everything is running smoothly and I'm glad I bought it. The stock browser is a bit clunky but I have no problems using Chrome on there. I'll let it bed in before I start fiddling with custom ROMs.

100% Satisfied.

When I just got mine, it had a milion bugs and was unstable as hell. Couple days later recieved OTA update and most issues were resolved. Still a few app crashes mostly games, but I can live with that for now. Waiting for Jelly Bean. If I'm not happy I'll move to a custom rom. BTW rooted from day 1.
In general the device is a beast. Only a few software hick ups. I'm happy with it.

I've had a few crashes on games myself but nothing patience didn't fix. They were side loaded anyway so didn't complain much.

150% satisfied, one of the best performing devices I have had the pleasure of using.

The ease of so many connection options, the dock and keyboard, the OS, I could go on for ages. Just really glad I finally ditched my iPhone and iPad and embraced the world of Android!

This device can do just about everything I did on my Laptop. Which shocked Me!! :)

Picked mine up 2 days ago, and loving it so far! :) Performance seems excellent, haven't really noticed any hangs in browser either.
Think there is one dead pixel, almost never noticeable though.
Not sure as well, if there a tiny line of dust under the screen, or it's a really small crack. :/ Again, it's generally unnoticeable, unless you really try and look at it. But if it is a crack, I'd wanna take it back and exchange for new one as soon as I can.

Reading up now on rooting/cwm and whatnot at the moment, will probably leave the rom stock for awhile though.
Apart from that, it's all good. :)

Very happy with mine (on HYDRO rom) also using Browser2RAM and it's nice and zippy. It does just about everything I need it to do and I don't miss the iPad 2 nor the Asus Windows 7 Netbook I sold to get this tablet. *To clarify netbook was sold to get either the iPad or a competing tablet. Settled with the tf300 with the dock. It's the best gadget purchase I've made and it's actually useful.

Best purchase I've made in a long time. I'm running stock w/ root -- I actually dig the wave share UI. I will eventually unlock and try some custom roms, but I'll probably wait until the warranty expires.
