I am very blessed to say that I have only paid $100 for this phone with NO contract. My line is still off contract as part of the 2G phone trade.

1. 100 dollar rebate for the bundle
2. 100 dollar rebate for the tethering package

You can get this at any ATT store and if they tell you otherwise walk away and find one that does.

NOTE: Also be aware that if you are an AT&T employee looking for a corporate discount.. a friend of mine told me they do not give it on the tethering data as of right now. This may change but as of right now they do not give it. They DO give it for AT&T wireless employees.. just not corporate.

No that is incorrect. As I listed above right now they are giving an additional 200 in rebates. One is mail in the other is instant.

i apid $150 + tax = ~$192 for the phone w/ 2-year contract. our main line has been off-contract for probably more than a year and we've been premier members since pre-cingular AT&T so we got another $50 discount on top of the $199 price.

$149 from Target, plus they bought my 2 year old Blackberry Bold for $65. With a new 2 year contract I was out of there for under $100.
