This is BS verdict for real. They brought in a jury that knew nothing about patents laws. The judge had to give them a crash course in it. Fishy business. So do this mean no galaxy s4. What's next apple going sue Google claiming Android os infringed on apple BS ios

This was all about the older samsung phones I think, I don't see it affecting our current or future galaxy devices.

it's really pathetic to let a bunch of people who have no real knowledge when it comes to this kind of stuff let them dictate these type of lawsuits..

I wonder if everyone in the jury owns an iPhone 4S in an Otter Box...? The thing I love most about my Samsung GS3 is the fact that it's not an iPhone.
Never stood a chance as this was held literally in Apple's backyard.
As for the future, who knows, but this is a really big deal. With what was granted, no phone maker will come close to an iphone design again for fear of a lawsuit with now a precedent. Worst case is manufacturers start to question if Android is a viable ecosystem considering everything it runs on is probably sue-able by Apple now.
They hopefully stop with Samsung and don't go further as Sammy was their biggest threat. But they might now set their sites on HTC as well and be the final nail in that coffin.
While this is bad enough, I think the worst is because it sets a standard and Apple now has control over what we know the mobile industry today.

The fact that Samsung were awarded nothing at all in their counter claim just proves that the whole thing was rigged...can't wait for the Note 2. Even before I bought my first Samsung phone I was never fond of apple products and this just increases my stance.

Does anyone have any links to more on Apple vs Samsung? I coulda swore I read recently that Apple lost to Samsung is another country and now Samsung is suing Apple. Can't find it though :/
They shouldn't have been allowed such broad patents in the first place. What's next apple going start trying to patent numbers?

Apple is now banned from selling the I phones/iPads in south Korea And I think they have to pay Sammy, 22000$? And Samsung has to pay them I think 1300?

Its gonna be appealed and go on for years.... the judge even did a doulble take on some of the juries verdicts... Apples victory was so lopsided foul play is obvious and should make the appeals a breeze

those guys in the evo lte forum are........ i was trying to alert them but they just started being butts because i type fast. This is not school. I really feel for Samsung here and HTC is no better with the impending doom looming(Apple/Nokia). Its crazy how they got nothing but owe so much and in time this will directly effect customers.....
