How strong is the display?

Hey,

I was wondering how strong/scratch proof is the display?

Is it alright to use it without a screen protector? I wanted to use a skin from dbrand and they do not include a protector.

I used the phone without a screen protector for just over 90 days, and there was major scratches. Just minor bruises which happens due to normal usage and only visible under direct sunlight or LED lamps, not affecting the display in slightest. So I think you will be okay as long as you be a little careful like only carrying the mobile in pocket without anything else.

I ordered the glass screen protector first. Before I actually got my pixel. Got one from a US seller on ebay for a few bucks. Still works great, the only gripe is it does not cover the edges of the screen. Got a case with a slightly raised lip. Have dropped the phone flat on its face 10-20 times so far. No scratches or damage yet......lol. Keeping fingers crossed.

I've had mine completely naked since release day and have no noticable scuffs or scratches on the screen, despite a few drops. If you don't do stupid stuff with it, you'll be fine, just like almost every other device out there.
