How To Guide How to activate Volte/ WLAN Calling

Apps -

  1. Settings Database Editor
  2. Activity Launcher


🌐 Download ADB





Support -

  1. Need to have volte support on your carrier.
  2. Need to have volte activated on your sim by your carrier. - try the sim on another divide and see if volte works.


Steps -

  1. Open Settings Database Editor
  2. Grant the prerequisites for the app.
  3. Allow the requisite via adb as instructed by the app, not gonna go into detail about that. I assume that if you're trying something this advanced you know how to use abd.
  4. Open tha app
  5. Allow it to load.
  6. Go to system table.
  7. Search for hide_virtual_hd_voice_menu_settings
  8. Change parameter to 0.
  9. Save
  10. Go to Secure table
  11. Search for card_volte_flag_0
  12. Change parameter to 1.
  13. Save
  14. Search for card_volte_flag_1
  15. Chnage parameter to 1.
  16. Save
  17. Restart/Reboot device.
  18. Open Activity Launcher
  19. Allow it to load
  20. Search wlan calling
  21. Under settings, select the 2nd option.
  22. And add shortcut to home screen. (make sure u've given home screen shortcut permissions)
  23. Go to home/desktop
  24. Open the newly created shortcut.
  25. Start wifi calling.
  26. Set to wifi preferred.
  27. You're all set.

Wait, now I understand what you wanted to say.
You're saying it should say VoWiFi, while it's saying Volte on my device right?

It's not a issue. It would say VoWiFi, in India where I'm from, but i'm currently in Bangladesh, and here VoWiFi is not supported. Only Volte, which is also in a few operators.

And the reason volte is turned on by using VoWiFi switch is because, probably both are connected to each other
Anyway, I used a guide to get here.
I just posted this guide, coz I can't find that guide anywhere, and many people asked me for a guide, when I said, I was able to activate volte.

Please can you advice where to download adb ? To the phone right ? What should I allow with adb?
Is root needed?
I'm using Huawei P60 Pro, will this work on it and?
The settings data base editor needs to install also F Droid apk?

I have adb installed and the two other apk listed above. Please can you advice which app shall be opened first,more clear steps.

I followed these steps and once I restart the phone I still get in card_volte_flag = 0 though I already change it to 1 before restart.
When opeining the Activity Launcher and I don't find the WLAN Calling

Please can you help what is wrong ?
