I used adb to put the zip on but can't install it. Error updating partitions. I tried fixing permissions but it says unable to do that after factory reset (which I needed to do before installing a rom??)
What version ROM were you on and what version are you trying to flash.... You must stay on the same version unless you updated the bootloader. If you were running 4.3 then stick with that... Run the last known good ROM

I was on 4.3 before I accidentally deleted the OS. Which lead me to this thread. Stuck after sideloading the rom.

I've read about every thread that I can possibly imagine and still nothing is working. Here are the details:

Sprint
S-ON
HBOOT 1.55
TWRP 2.6.3.0 recovery

******** If you don't care to read the more elaborated story then skip to the ********

It all started with the new OTA update. Instead of unrooting my phone, I just decided I would download ARHD instead.

Somehow I managed to download ARHD 41.0 which does not support Sprint. I realized this after I flashed the rom and was stuck in my lock screen (it also showed that I had no service, as if my phone wasn't activated with sprint). If I tried to unlock the lock screen it would display the boot logo and then reboot after a few minutes.

After I realized the problem, I went to recovery and restored my nandroid backup (Stock) so that I could try again. It then prompted me that my phone was not rooted and I need to download SU, I tried but it wouldn't work and the phone kept going to lock screen(no service)... boot logo... restart again.

Now I'm freaking out. I try to copy over the correct ARHD 31.6 rom with debug, but it doesn't copy over fast enough before it reboots on me. I try relocking the bootloader and then unlocking it again, flashing different recoveries to try to mount the sd card but nothing else would work. I reflash TWRP and somehow during all these attempts I manage to fully copy over the ARHD 31.6 rom. I flash the rom but I'm still in the same boat. Lock screen(no service)... boot logo... restart again.

So I had the idea of flashing the latest firmware and seeing if that would solve anything (maybe it deleted everything I needed when I relocked and unlocked my bootloader again?) but now when I try to copy something over with the few moments of debug before it reboots, it doesn't even allow it. It says the device is no longer connected, but I can still view the files and folders on the sd card, just not copy anything over. So now I have to figure a different way to transfer files to my sd card, and that's how I ended up in this thread, with more problems.

I originally downloaded everything on my D drive (storage) so obviously the drivers didn't work since my OS is on my C drive.

******** My phone still will not show up in adb devices. I downloaded all the drivers on my C drive, even though when I plug my phone in the MTP driver won't download, does this matter? Even though it still gives me the option to view files on my sd card? I'm positive I've done every step correctly from this thread, I even tried the adb push name.zip/data/media/0/ and still nothing seems to work. I'm willing to pay money at this point to get this phone up and running again. It is my main means of communication for my job and is essential. $$$$ PLEASE HELP I've been reading articles all weekend now and nothing is working!

UPDATE: turns out the firmware zip file I was trying to transfer over was corrupt, so I still have about 2 mins. in between each reboot to try to transfer files over through debug. I could still use an answer as to why I'm not showing up on adb devices.

OK have you tried hasoons tool kit? You will need to flash through fastboot a official stock ruu to get the correct bootloader and ROM.. You need to do this and have the bootloader locked again..then all you have to do is root again, use goo manager to push the updated recovery and restore your nandroid back up..... If the phone is not recognized in recovery or adb it's a driver issue. You can also get the latest drivers from that toolkit... Also you want to make surf you update Android SDK which has all versions of Android... Update all the items like 4.1.2, 4.2.2, 4.3, and 4.4.2 and then once you have it updated try again....

Thanks for the reply!

Does my phone need to be S-OFF to be able to flash the RUU?

Are you running Windows 8.1? Also, Run command adb devices
If nothing shows up I I would assume something is wrong with the HTC ONE drivers that you have installed

I tried switching to ART on a 4.4/Sense 5.5 rom (the most current version of Ecliptic for Sprint HTC One) and I haven't been able to use my phone since. I can't mount USB storage to copy the ROM to the SD, Sideload keeps telling me it's failing, and ADB push just sits there and does nothing. I now have a paperweight, and there's no reason for it. Can someone help me fix my piece of **** phone, please?

First, make sure you have the newest Android SDK. Then type in cmd: "ADB devices" and see if your phone shows up. If not, then work on getting your computer to recognize your phone, cause it's not right now.

As a last resort you can try to use the RUU for your hboot. RUU fixes everything.... You just have to re-unlock and rerun revone, or rumrunner, etc.

CAUTION: RUU will erase everything on your phone. So if you needed pictures of data off of it, it will be wiped. However, if you can't get the phone off anywyays then

Hey guys,

I'm having a lot of trouble with my AT&t HTC One. I was trying to update it to android revolution v62 and by accident i wipe my entire internal sd card and I have no rom on the phone to boot into right now. I know you can sideload a rom or put a rom on your sd card via this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2318497. But the problem is I can not get my computer to recognize my phone. I have the android sdk installed with all the updates. I have the HTC drivers installed as well. I just need my computer to recognize my phone. It only shows up in device manager when i put it into fastboot mode. I tried to do the RUU but it couldn't recognize the phone. Also when I try to do adb devices, it also shows that no devices are connected I think it's a driver issue. Also I'm on windows 7 64 bit. Thanks so much!

Also my phone is

S-off
unlocked

EDIT:
I finally figured out how to fix it.It was a driver issue the whole time. The HTC drivers were not working and what I ended up doing was using this driver download.clockworkmod.[com]/test/UniversalAdbDriverSetup6.msi

(remove brackets from [.com] above) and then i just pushed the rom to my sd card and installed it. I hope this helps anyone else out there.
