solved HTC One X adb device not found issue

Finally after 3 days i found out the reason why adb did not detect my device.

It was since i had both universal adb driver as well as HTC driver installed in my Windows 7.

I uninstalled HTC driver and the system automatically detected adb driver :):)

i sideload the ROM.

Now my device is up and running

Hurray Hurray...

do a dir command from your fastboot / adb directory and see if the file names are correct IE: ViperOne.zip not ViperOne.zip.zip

you did put the rom in the same folder as adb right ?

LG G2 got Bricked, please HELP!!!

Respected Sir, I have a huge problem with my LG G2 (D-802). I had cloudyg3 version 1.3 ROM installed in my phone and had cloudyg3 version 2.0 available in my internal storage. I went to TWRP and wipe the Delvik cache and all the caches and then stupidly formatted the whole data (including the cloudyg3 version 2.0 ROM). I Do not have any ROM with me now, neither i can insert in it as the back cover is irremovable and it doesn't have any SD card slot. I'm badl;y stuck over here. Do not know what to do. Please help me out as my computer is also not picking my phone when attached through a USB cable. I am new here please help me out in this regard. Hoping for your prompt replies. :(:(:(

Put your phone in recovery

Then from your pc try adb devices

If you don't get your serial no. You need to fix tor drivers.
If you do get the serial number put the Rom in the same folder and use
adb push Rom.zip /sdcard

It will take some time to copy the file wait for it then flash the file in Twrp

Enter recovery plug your phone to pc, in recovery select adb sideload, after doing this on pc open a command window and type adb devices, if it detects the phone it will show you a number, so you are ready to go, then type adb sideload xoxo.zip xoxo it's zip's name

adb sideload related error

While trying to sideload on a nearly bricked vs980 get the following message:

[assert failed: run_program("/system/bin/loki.sh") == 0

Any thoughts or suggestions?

May be a little bit late to respond to this, but cannot read 'sideload' typically shows up when adb sideload doesn't know what file to load.
- Navigate to the folder where zip is located (on pc)
- initiate adb sideload (there should be an option) on Recovery on the Device
- send command on the PC - adb sideload [name].zip

Hope this helps, if it is not too late...

If you haven't found one yet, try ARHD 82 or latest or MaximusHD.

Me I'm stuck

Got the m7 here, having 'tampered' on bootloader screen too. Stuck in a boot loop after trying to install rom, insertcoin 7.0.7
just keeps booting back into TWRP. No errors on install but now I can't change rom as ADB will not detect device and TWRP will not detect my usb stick using OTG cable. So I can't push files to the phone and flash a new rom.

here's some details;
recovery is TWRP v2.6.3.3
When in bootloader I get;

*** TAMPERED ***
*** UNLOCKED ***
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-ON RH
HBOOT - 1.44.0000
RADIO-4A.14.3250.13
OpenDSP-v26.120.274.0202
eMMC-boot
Mar 11 2013,22:16:05:-1

NOTE: My phone was S-Off before flashing the insertcoin rom, was running renovate Milestone9
is there anyway out of this one?

I thought side load was the key to my solution but when in TWRP I mount data then connect to PC it does nothing and TWRP just keeps giving me status of "Starting ADB sideload feature". Should it do something else? I've not used this feature before.

Could it just be windows drivers? I've tried on my PC and now giving it one lat crack with my laptop.
p.s I was dumb and deleted my nan backup and copy of milestone from the phone, forgot I did this before I tried installing the new Rom.

Cheers

mattkle

the Mrs says just go get the new M9....but.....like my Desire DHD, I'm attached. Currently my DHD is my daily driver, thing still looks brand new, so too is my M7. I just hate jumping to a new phone especially when it's a new release. I'd prefer to wait for any wrinkles to be ironed out first.

Hey Guys,

made the same mistake and deleted everything in TWRP and have no rom on the phone left.

I installed the ADB Tool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2588979) and can see my phone as a connected device to be sideloaded to (command adb devices) which is good.

Now i tried to sideload the rom into the phone (adb sideload myromname.zip) and get error: * cannot read 'myromname.zip' *
I then tried: adb push myromname.zip /data/media/0/ and get "error: closed".

Same problem as the guys above me. My phone is an LG G2 D802,

I am on Windows 8.1 64bit (PowerShell runs as x86) and installed ADB Installer 1.3 and 1.42. What am i doing wrong? WHen i do the push command, maybe the folder structure on my phone is not existend or wrong...

Thanks
