Hi guys.
Im a real big stock android fan, and so i also really like it to have softkeys.
Now, i will be upgrading to the Lineage OS for our device when it comes out of the alpha, but i would really like to have a navbar with that.
Can anyone make another thread to show us how to do it? You can just reply to this message too.
But just make kind of a tutorial, do i have to root, or not?
Just tell me how to do it please.
Thanks guys!

If you want to get a real navbar you will need root. There are some apps that allow the navbar with just a click like this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fatedevgroup.softkeyenabler or you could do it the hard way by editing the build.prop but there's a higher chance of messing something up.

Just go to /system/build.prop file and add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" without the quotes.. Every phone has a built in Nav bars

Hi, I have been using this for a while.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tw.com.daxia.virtualsoftkeys
It's not really a nav bar, it doesn't require root.
It's overall quite good, I did not feel any lag using it.
Hope I helped :)
Thanks, I haven't tried this app before, but I did try a similar app. They're all right, but the only problem is they cover a part of the screen. They are not part of the system. And that's what I'm after. But thanks anyways man! :)

Hi, if I do this, can I just reverse it by removing the line?
