Hey guys, just got pissed off, cause the antenna on HTC Legend sucks:

The contact between phone and cap isn't really good,
so I tried to FIX it:

I brazed two points on the cap of the Legend. Now I can report, that the signal strength is much better and also the stability of the signal is improved, even if u take the phone with your hand...

I'm not sure if every Legend has this issue...

I've added two pics, so u can try it ON YOUR OWN RISK!
Would be nice if u give me a little feedback!

What were the dBm/asu figures before and what are they now?
To apply the solder to the contacts were there any areas of particular concern ie dislodging the antenna connections from underneath the contacts which presumably are also soldered?
Consideration given to the introduction of another "layer" between the antenna contacts and the handset body just depressing the other contacts passed their elasticity boundary.
Don't want discount anything that may improve performance(given my Legend has to have one of the worst performing radios that I've come across)but this procedure appears to be somewhat invasive.
