hmmm... do you really unlocked the bootloader?

I could have sworn I did, so i tried the unlock program again and then repeated the steps and I got past that stage
I did run into a rather critical issue though and I really fear that I might have bricked my phone :(

So I had the issue with deleting on step 15. I ended up doing the format data and then when I got to step for installing the EU rom it's not there.
I see you have " if your copy of the xiaomi.eu rom is gone (wipe all data and no copy of the rom on your sd-card), you have to copy the rom again to the internal memory" But the phone isn't recognised by the computer so I'm not sure what I can do. Since there's no OS installed I can't reboot the phone properly to put the file in again and the computer doesn't recognise the phone in either fastboot mode or in the twrp recovery mode

If you've any suggestions I'd love to hear them cause I'm really worried I've got myself a brick!

don't panic... if you have a micro sdcard, connect the sdcard to your pc and copy the xiaomi.eu rom file to it. after that Insert the sdcard into the mobile phone and boot into the recovery. (press and hold volume up key and power key together. release the power key after first beep/vibration)
install rom from sdcard as usual.

without any sdcard, connect the mobile phone to your pc and enable mtp mode in twrp recovery for file transfer. now you are able to copy the rom to the internal phone memory. after that install the rom as usual.

cant do "fastboot.exe flash recovery recovery.img" step...

Hi,

I tried several times, but when I arrived at "fastboot.exe flash recovery recovery.img" step, it appears " Waiting for any device", and I have my Xiaomi redmi pro in fastboot mode. If I try to find the device, typing "adb.exe devices" again, my phone does not appears in there. I don't know why. I already did the unlock and it work, I think, because, when I try to unlock it again, it shows "counldn't verify device" , "not connected to miphone".

thanks for the atencion, sorry for my english.

Hi,
When I bought my Redmi Pro I asked the guys to flash it to custom ROM ( it was one of xiaomi.eu ROMs) and also they installed TWRP and I suppose it is working fine as my phone was function fine except for some bugs, I could not manage to launch Spotify.

So I used built in updater app in phone settings to flash it to newest developer ROM from miui.com. Everything works fine including Spotify. But Chinese stuff poping up everywhere is a pain.

My question here is since my boot-loader is already unlocked and TWRP is working can I just simply use same builtin into MIUI updater app from setting to flash to custom ROM from xiaomi.eu? Or must I use TWRP or PC for that?

just use TWRP to install xiaomi.eu custom rom for redmi pro.
if TWRP is gone after flashing the newest developer ROM from miui.com, you have to flash TWRP via fastboot again. just follow my instructions in the first post.
