How to change camera settings?

I must be totally blind. I do not see any options in the camera to change the resolution. I also don't see any options to change the video quality. It's been an obvious option on all my previous Android phones.

Good news! you aren't blind.

Not-so-good news: There are no such options in the Moto camera. They removed all "advanced" options for the sake of simplicity. Enabling HDR is as close as you get.

If this bugs you, Google for "Nexus camera apk" or some variation thereof and use that camera instead.

Thanks for the quick reply. It is just ridiculous that there are no options - I don't want a 4MB picture - it's harder to email them when I am sending 5. I will search Nexus camera. What about an alternative camera from the Store?

EDIT: I installed the nexus camera and changed the quality settings for the camera - it says its only taking 5MP pics so why are they 4MB+?

Did you reduce the resolution? You should still be taking 10 MP pictures no matter what resolution...
