Do you know anywhere to "repair" imei of pocophone f1 in istanbul my dear friend?:D
You'll need another IMEI from another source (usually from a cheap throwaway phone you bought if you want to be ethical) and a the hardware tools to so.

Considering that you won't be ever using those tools more than once every 2-3 years it doesn't make sense to buy them. So ask around in the small shops who can do this for you since you'll only need to do it once if used a real IMEI. (if you go to places with a lot of Syrians like Fatih that'll almost be every single shop you put your eyes upon)

imei poco

You should be able to change it with a certain tool in the forum and from what i remember you just need root to change it you can probably find it with a single search on Google.

One of my friends had the same problem with his redmi note 4 so he lend it to me for changing it and
the process was smooth unlike what i thought.

I own a poco too but since i bought it off contract with straight cash i don't have any experience with taxes other than what I've said before.

Hope this helped.

P.s: guys pls think twice before you judge.
Our country sucks in terms of quality of life so i don't think he is doing any wrong.
I would go ahead and try to tell you about all of the problems our country has but this place is not the right place for politics.

Thats why we try to change imei!

Guys let me clearfy about the issue that "why people from Turkey want to change imei"

First things first, Turkey has a government loots tax from every possible way :)
Because of tax, smart phone prices get very very high and than people try to take a phone with them when they come back to turkey from out of country and yes its legal but you should register the phone that you bring with you. But its also has a cost, a little more than a hundred dolars! (for year 2019 the registration it costs 618 Turkish Liras its equals 115 USD right now on 03-28-2019) and you also have a passport that you must be used to treavel at least 120 days!
If you do not register that phone, its gonna be gsm disabled in 120 days. But if you try to register you should spend a lot of money to use your phone.
its ok for high end devices like iphone xs or s10 or something like that. But its a big deal for -300$ phones.
That why we are try to change imei, we are not gonna stole something, we just try to protect our money its gonna be stolen by government :)

In my case; i have poco unregistered with government, and i have 2 imei from my old lenovo p70a, it was broken 3 years ego but i keep the imei stickers for reuse :)
So I want to replace my poco's imeis with p70a imei numbers for free registration.:D

No sorry, right now therese is no way to change imei for poco f1, but some other brands with SDM845 can easly change with qcn file.
Xiaomi has made some detailed qcn file config when i am change imei on poco f1, (yes i can do right now) it change but it losts GSM connection. Then its useless way.
i know some people working on the issue and looking forward to find a safe way.

is it now possible to change the imei number on poco f1? They are selling it for 520 usd right now and with the recent tax increase, I'm afraid it'll become worse.
