Sorry guys. You may not get help from XDA since it is dinned into the members that changing the IMEI is illegal. So most here will not attempt it, much less help you and your countrymen to do it even if they know how it can be done, though you and your countrymen may believe that what you want to do is justified in your perception. So search for a solution elsewhere.

I wont go in detail. All u need to do is enable diagnostic mode . Open QPST tools -> NVMEi backup . Edit with a hex editor ,save it and reboot and u are done.

You can't change IMEI number. Only a guy who has stolen a phone would do that.

You are wrong. Where do you live? How much did you pay for your phone? In how many working hours can you buy your phone?

Guys let me clearfy about the issue that "why people from Turkey want to change imei"

First things first, Turkey has a government loots tax from every possible way
Because of tax, smart phone prices get very very high and than people try to take a phone with them when they come back to turkey from out of country and yes its legal but you should register the phone that you bring with you. But its also has a cost, a little more than a hundred dolars! (for year 2019 the registration it costs 618 Turkish Liras its equals 115 USD right now on 03-28-2019) and you also have a passport that you must be used to treavel at least 120 days!
If you do not register that phone, its gonna be gsm disabled in 120 days. But if you try to register you should spend a lot of money to use your phone.
its ok for high end devices like iphone xs or s10 or something like that. But its a big deal for -300$ phones.
That why we are try to change imei, we are not gonna stole something, we just try to protect our money its gonna be stolen by government

In my case; i have poco unregistered with government, and i have 2 imei from my old lenovo p70a, it was broken 3 years ego but i keep the imei stickers for reuse
So I want to replace my poco's imeis with p70a imei numbers for free registration.

Totally agree, they can't understand, they are like parrots telling imei changing is theft, they have no idea about the country where do we live.
Did you find any solution? I have Mix 2s, they have the same internals. So it could be the same.

you searching with the wrong words in google....

In times of Xiaomi MI3, MI4 or Redmi serie there were programs to change the IMEI. with problem EFS folder (imei and baseband)
In time of Xiaomi MI3, MI4 or Redmi serie, a lot of people (me too) lost after flashing a custom rom the IMEI...
Unfortunately, I can not say if this work 2019.
