How to check if defy with broken screen is still working?

After a drop my defy has the screen gone. Digitizer is completely shattered, and also the LCD stays completely black. Is there av way to check if the phone is still working? If I try to power it on the led became green for a few seconds, then blue, then it's turned off and nothing else happens.

Try to connect via adb, or check if the Android screen cast shows you the content of screen!
