how to convert a SM-N9500 to Verizon?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Duos SM-N9500
Android 7.0
64Gig
Build MMB29K.G950FXXU1APFO
believe bootloader is V1

Is it possible to get my verizon service working on the sm-n9500. Sim is recognized but no auth I have entered APN settings that made no change.
I read I may need to flash I can not find a definitive answer to what FW and ROM I should flash to get it converted over to a US phone.
I read SM-N950U1 maybe the FW to use.

Can you please help me to understand what I need to do.

You can try HOME_CSC file of any N950U firmware in Prince Comsy's Odin but it may not work

I thought that would be the way to do it to BlueFox721.... but no go for me.

I will close the thread I sold it to a guy that loved it on his AT&T account. Worked for att what gives.. so you know..

Does the 9500 have Google play and does it feel like a US device or a Chinese device

It comes with Google play and works fine.
The only issues I have are that Samsung pay and Bixby are showing more Chinese offers and searches than local (I'm based in the UK).
Other than that, great phone!
