How To Guide HOW TO CONVERT MOTOROLA EDGE X30 CN ROM TO GLOBAL (Tutorial)

NOTE: MAKE SURE THE MOTOROLA DRIVERS ARE INSTALLED AND THE ADB IS ISTALLED.
1ST : go to your phones fastboot mode then flash this firmware using flashfile.bat in the folder and wait until finished. CN FIRMWARE LINK:

File folder on MEGA

mega.nz

2ND : download eu rom from here : https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmwar...-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_cid50_CFC.xml.zip

3RD : in the folder where you extracted the EU FIRMWARE open a adb powershell window. then flash this.

after those 2 all systems go.

after the phone has finished booting up. disable the moto app since it has a buggy lockscreen feature.

IF YOU DONT WANT ANYMORE OR YOU HAD A BOOTLOOP. YOU CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE CHINESE FIRMWARE.

Is it safe to flash this phone ? i've read that the Motorola Edge X30 is slightly different from the Edge 30 Pro (whch is its global/europe variant ) and when flashing global rom on the X30 it has many issues like crash, lagging and battery drain... is it true ?

Yes, it is true... I tried global firmware and it had many bugs, these you wrote and if this was not enough there is some more lol.

So basically it's not worth to buy an X30 if you need to flash the global rom on it, right ? xD

If you need global rom no, but you can use it with more Locale and will be very good, the only issue I had on CN Rom was because I needed android auto and to use it I had to root my phone...

More Locale 2 is an app that add more language options to the phone, the phone settings won't be 100% translated, but all the apps that you install (if they have a version in you language) will be in your language as if you were using a global Rom. It doesn't even need you to root the phone.

My device says my model is XT2201-2 not XT2201-1, and I can only find global roms for the 2201-1. Does any1 know if I can install it without a problem?
