Google it you lazy cow

despite that that guy up there is totally right.. i'll give you a simple way to do it.
-disable automatic time update on your Lumia and fast forward the date to a couple of months later or so ( let's say to July)
-restart phone
-go to settings and check for updates.. spoiler alert.. it will give you an error but do it anyway (since the date is significantly wrong and is in future the phone will consider pending updates invalid and will clear them)
-then reset date to the right month and day again and restart your phone again.
-go to settings and check for updates again and voila.. updates are redownloading..
-potato.

I just want to say that because the member you called a "lazy cow" did ask the question here (instead of just finding the answer via google and calling it good), others like myself have been able to quickly find the answer through Google, which links directly to THIS THREAD.. So, again. Thank you to muhammad_h for the answer, and also thank you to OP for asking the question here on xda in the first place.

Yes, it was a while ago, but I can't understand how people can be so rude to other members for trying to engage in information exchange. Must be so frustrating for the "try googling it" people to live in a world where forum-members don't adhere to their idea of online search-behavior. CRAP
