How to detect a GSM jammer?

Hi!

Near our bibliothek a lot of people dont have any cellphone reception - what is not really logic regarding the surrounding concrete structure etc...

I am speculating that there is some kind of GSM jammer installed and am wondering if i can use "fieldtest.exe" to gather more information about this theory? If yes - which values are interesing?

Sorry for this noob answer - i am not into GSM tech at all so most of those value readings are not understandable for me...

Have your lot of people call your provider and tell them about the reception problem, at least here they will investigate the issue.

Maybe you could use OpenCellClient with GPS to walk around and figure out if there is a 'rogue' tower there, but I would think a jammer would just broadcast garbage and not behave like a tower.
