I don't think I'm booting my phone correctly?

Here's what I see:

-- Copying media files ...
Successfully copied media files.

# MANUAL MODE #

-- Updating application...
Successfully updated application.

-- Applying Multi-CSC...
Installnig Multi-CSC
Can't access to '/system/csc/ATT/system'.
Successfully applied multi-CSC
My phone isn't bricked, it still boots, and this is what I see BEFORE I have done anything to the phone. Why am I seeing this and not getting the chance to press volume up to accept a warning?

WOW, super easy. I have rooted plenty of htc's, but never a sammy. This went smooth as silk. Thank you, and the other devs, for you hard work. It is much appreciated.

Ok i thought i had posted earlier but it didnt appear.

I got to step 6. ODIN successfully downloads the TAR file to my phone but it stays stuck on the SAMSUNG screen. Any help here. Or am i doing something idiotic.

I'm on a W7 x64. I'll be going home soon but the only windows computer i have at home is the Dev preview of Windows 8. Got 2 Macs though.

worked perfectly.

Just an FYI - if you are using an active virus scanner, it is possible it will block extraction of some of the SuperOneClick files and thus the program will not work correctly. After you extract, go to your quarantine vault and release anything that was blocked during the extraction and everything will work fine.

Followed this and now my boot screen says Samsung galaxy sii gt-i9100. Is this normal. The phone IA working fine with no issues is this a cause for concern?

Ok, my battery life still sucks at 12-13 hours on a full charge. I noticed its all bloat service which are running causing my Android OS to use 68% of the battery. I need to uninstall some of these and rooting is it.

Can someone please tell me whats the difference between jivy26's root here vs. Entropy512's Return/Unbrick to Stock (or Root)?
Which one is the one that leaves my phone the same as now (I have install lots of apps), but with root access?

Thanks in advance..
