When you dial *#0808#, it takes you to the USB settings immediately where you click on DM+MODEM+ADB. Did you do that? After that, SamFW should continue with the process (which was stuck on "Waiting for DIAG").in the guide, it says that if it is stuck in waiting for diag then do the thing with the *#0808# . I did it, how long I have to wait after that?
So when we are saying stuck we mean when it stays to Waiting for Diag for long time but the green bar is still moving correct ?When

I first did it on 4.1. Though I and others have done it on 5.0 and it works too. Which CSC are you on? Also you're using the S22 Ultra? So when we are saying stuck we mean when it stays to Waiting for Diag for long time but the green bar is still moving correct ?
Yes I did the *#0808# and change the setting but still is says waiting for diag.
Did you do it when you were on 4.1 or 5 ?
Yes i just got my S22 Ultra Canadian VersionI first did it on 4.1. Though I and others have done it on 5.0 and it works too. Which CSC are you on? Also you're using the S22 Ultra?
I would try to switch to XAC CSC with SamFW (without your SIM card inserted) and try again, and if it doesn't work you might have to flash US XAA firmware.
No it won't.if i change the CSC to XAC through SamFw is it gonna erase all my data?
It should get past waiting for DIAG and say disabling DIAG after you switch it to DM mode. If it doesn't, then it's not working.changed to XAC , started the SamFW and pressed the button . it says Enable Diag and below waiting for DIag and the green bar moves
I have not change the drivers since I have the S21 ultra . Do you think that I have to update the drivers ? Do you have the correct ones?No it won't.

I would try a different cable. I did it on TLS before so I think it should work. You can also try this tool from a previous post to unlock the secret codes, which some users said worked for them, but I haven't tried personally.
If nothing works, I would just flash US firmware and make sure you're on XAA CSC (and yes you will lose data). That should definitely work unless you have some bad cable or drivers.
I did it on windows 11 as well, so should be fine. I would try to uninstall all Samsung/Android drivers and reinstall the latest ones from the link in the OP. Sorry, not sure what else you can try if it doesn't work other than flashing U1 XAA.I have not change the drivers since I have the S21 ultra . Do you think that I have to update the drivers ? I changed cables . Maybe is the windows 11?
Success with the new drivers but when I use the codes nothing is happening !!!I did it on windows 11 as well, so should be fine. IDK that it's possible I thought U and U1 can only be flashed.Sometimes, this will work directly on Canadian firmware. You might not need to flash US firmware. It worked for me on my Canadian S22U without first flashing US XAA. Try the instructions first on your Canadian firmware before flashing to see if it works and save you the extra step.
And yes if you flash US firmware then do the trick and flash Canadian back, the menu will still be unlocked. I've tested that. Though if you flash between American and Canadian firmwares, you will lose all data so keep that in mind.
Actually Canadian and US variants are the same phone, you can freely flash U1 firmware on W phones and vice versa.
Great, looks like it worked!Success with the new drivers but when I use the codes nothing is happening !!!

Yes I did try both codes and nothing happenedGreat, looks like it worked!
Did you try both codes? Did you try the shorter code *#73#? Make sure you're using Samsung Dialer.
That's weird. Well in that case, I guess you're gonna have to switch to US firmware and try there. You can switch back after it works.
CA shouldn't be restricted. This method should unlock all bands and aggregation.Hi, I'm on S901U1 with XAA, which is then protocol simulated to GCF.
According to band selection, all bands are successfully unlocked.
However I'm having trouble getting CA on my carrier (FarEasTone, 466-01)
DISABLE CA COMBO CHECK is ON and presists over reboot.
Viewing basic information of said sim shows
CA-Not Config 0 0
UL CA Not Configured
However the carrier/sim works on a S9010 phone, with the same(relevant) LTE band support.
I'm at a loss right now.
Would appreaciate any ideas/direction to go from here, thanks.

Most ISPs only support CA on LTE/4G (and you will see it as LTE+/4G+ in the status bar). There are a very small number of carriers right now that do CA on 5G. If you're connected to 5G and your carrier doesn't do CA on 5G, you won't get CA unless you're on LTE. Are you having issues with LTE CA or 5G CA?
Also, CA is only active when data is being used. If you're idle, you will see "CA-Not Config 0 0" in the SIM info screen and no + in your LTE icon. But when you're using data, you should see "CA-Add (SX)" in the SIM info screen and your status bar should say LTE+/4G+ (if you're not connected to 5G).
If you are on XAA CSC, then you will receive OTA updates from XAA and will get 5.1 when the OTA is released for XAA.Thanks for this great post to unlock 5G and 4+/LTE+ bands on Canadian S22 Ultra version.
S22 Ultra: Will I get OTA update of oneui5.1 on XAA version or will I have to flash full firmware (factory reset) when XAA version will be released officially?
Yes, you will get OTA from XAA since you are on XAA CSC.I got Canadian version and LTE+/4g+ /5g were not working in Kuwait so I flashed XAA USA version and everything is working fine. but my concern is that if i will get OTA updates from XAA or not because I have read some posts on XDA that if you change CSC to different region, you will not get OTA updates....
I am still waiting for oneui 5.1 update from Samsung for XAA version which is not released yet to see if OTA update works or not.
I am happy with US XAA version and I don't want to go back to Canadian version because latest Canadian version is still on December 2022 patch.
I just got OTA 5.1 update on XAA. Thanks for your reply
T-Mobile now requires any BYOD to be compatible with T-Mobile's implementation of VoLTE for the device to work on their network.Hardware-wise it should be partially compatible with T-Mobile's 5G, and the device should at least be functional on T-Mobile (you might have coverage issues.) It's worth a shot as T-Mobile is known to not aggressively blacklist devices like AT&T.
