Take out the SIM card, if you have eSIM disconnect it in the SIM manager. Use the most recent version of SamFw 4.2 and try again. Without inserting SIM try *#73# again. This worked for me. Also use the Samsung stock dialer. Whenever the menu comes up go into Band Selection then click the three buttons in the upper right hand corner and click back 2x, this will take you to the Nas Configuration.I followed the directions and still keep getting stuck on "waiting for DIAG." I changed to "DM + MODEM + ADB" and still having no luck. Any help / advice? On a unlocked S23 ultra U1

Did you try to switch it back by dialing using *#0808# ? Whenever it says "Stuck on DIAG" ?Yea even with the SIM removed and restarted still getting stuck on waiting for DIAG
Yea I did that as well and it still says "waiting on DIAG"Did you try to switch it back by dialing using *#8080# ? Whenever it says "Stuck on DIAG" ?
By clicking "DM + MODEM + ADB" then press ok.
Do you have the Samsung driver's installed? I would double check that.

I'm using SIM + eSIM but could only get NRDC on both SIMs... I'm on U1 with TMB.My phone doesn't want to force enable SA for all bands on SIM2. I changed the stack and even managed to get NRDC enabled for all of them but only SIM1 shows SA on everything.

Yea I had to change the CSC to the global one. It's perfect thank you everyone!

Yea I had to re-download the Samsung driver's and then it worked for me but then the band selection didn't work so I had to change the CSC to the global one and that have me access to the band selection menu. For some reason the first method doesn't work on my physical SIM no matter what stack settings or anything are set, I've tried it on two different SIMs from two different networks, but the GCF option worked flawlessly and enabled all bands as well as SA on both SIMs. Is there any reason why it wouldn't be preferable to just do that method first? It's less menu hopping too.
can anyone with a German or European S23 say if this is useful for us?
No unfortunately this method is for US/Canadian phones only.I would like to know this too. Even though 5G isn't widespread in EU (no mmWave etc.), I'd like to enable it if the phone supports this but is limited/unabled for no reason.
Unfortunately I tried that and it is still doesn't work. I do know why though. If you put the Canadian phone (on XAA firmware) in diag mode and check with QPST EFS explorer, you can browse the Qualcomm modem firmware files in the EFS and see that the mmWave firmware file is missing (/nv/item_files/rfnv/00029652). On my US model S22U, this file exists. Without this file, the mmWave frequencies will not show up. I think these EFS firmware files are not included with the software updates, and instead are written to the hardware when the phone is made (like IMEI).What if you flash the XAA firmware? And change CSC to GCF? I would be surprised if the hardware was different.
