[HOW TO] Enable sprint spark icons

This is just a simple build.prop edit to enable the spark icons.

HOW TO

You need to edit your default build.prop
Open build.prop with any root explorer
find the following lines:

ro.product.name=hltespr
ro.product.device=hltespr

and change it to:

ro.product.name=kltespr
ro.product.device=kltespr

After you save then reboot.

For those using fre3 should know that it busts the finger ink app, and crashes the video editor app.

I found: ro.product.device=hltespr
but
I cant find: ro.product.name=hltespr

Sac's ROMs are heavily modded, maybe the reason why I can't find it.

This is what I did to mine so it wont crash the video editor app and still keep s5 toggles and spark icons

Instead of this: (kltespr on both)
ro.product.name=kltespr
ro.product.device=kltespr


Make it like I did:
ro.product.name=kltespr
ro.product.device=SM-G900P

To be honest Micmars I wouldnt know on that part since I dont have the Fre3 rom I just have the freeza stock deodexed rom. So I just have the video editor app. And like I said I did crashed on me when putting both lines as kltespr but with the change I did I fix the crash.
But if someone is willing to try and post on the finger ink app to see if it works will be nice.

It also borks the s-view when receiving a call, you can't answer through window and you have constant problems hitting the mute button with your cheek, due to it changing the button layout also...

If running root explorer, you could hard press on the filename and select edit in text editor from the popup menu. If you view it first and then edit, it won't stick but revert, as you've noticed. If you edit it only it'll keep the changes and rename your original build.prop with a bak extension.

The other way you can try is to copy it over to your internal memory, edit it, then copy it back and fix permissions.

I've had that same problem before but i founf out that if you dont press on the button that says mount R/w on top on root explorer to make it mount r/o (on the button cause then next to it will say mounted as R/w)
I will never stick unless you do that.
