After the Oreo update this Morning I tried to enable volte and video calling on unlocked firmware which is U1 but the shortcut Master app does not let you get into IMS settings anymore. Also tried using the quick shortcut maker app with no success. Just a heads up for people updating to Oreo using U1 firmware. Just for reference this is on the T-Mobile network on the US unlocked snapdragon. If anybody has any input or could figure it out that would be awesome if not I will probably end up flashing the T-Mobile Oreo CSC which will give me the T-Mobile boot animation which I don't want.
I have the exact same issue with the exact same model i just bought this weekend. Please let me know if some one has already found a way without routing or flashing

Thanks a lot

I have all options enabled. I did that before update to OREO. If I reset phone to default i'll lose volte (Exynos / SM-N950F/DS)?

Why samsung screw everything :/ , only secure folder stopping me from root.

What's your model number?
Is it a snapdragon device?
Because even i enabled voLTE using shortcut master when i was on nougat.
But it automatically got turned off as soon as i updated it to oreo.
Now i can't turn it on again.
I have tried many methods but no success yet.
I don't know why would samsung turn off voLTE for any of its Device.

I would assume Jio.
Same issue here.
Nougat and SCML worked perfectly.
Oreo doesn't allow SCML to execute or run anything.
Have to carry 2 phones again, sort of defeated the purpose of an unlocked dual Sim phone in the first place. Oreo was a big mistake.
Oh. And my autocorrect just fell 5 notches on the illiteracy scale too after Oreo.

Bump.

I miss being able to control my Verizon band 5 or 13 as well as band 4 with T-mobile on my dual sim note 8 when I wanted based on which had slow performance at the time at various locations. Without shortcutmaster or Phone Info Samsung, I can no longer access the dialer code 2263 Oreo too has been a mistake. Luckily, I stayed on bootloader v3 and was still able to downgrade to Nougat. Problem is that all the cool updates and features that all the ROMs have currently have all migrated away to Oreo. Has anyone found a way to access secret menues thus far? I tried elevating Phone Info Samsung to /system/priv-app and enabled trusting system apps w/ root, still nothing.

On my Tmobile note 8 v4 bootloader I have to manually enter the codes into the dialer. I've read some carriers lock theirs. I use the apps to find the codes then enter them manually. *#2263# for service menu *#77467# for ims settings

TY for your response. I'm using N950F/DS on Oreo. Its completely unlocked w/ the very open region of the UAE. I've tried dialer codes w/ rooted apps that worked on Nougat, but all I can find is that oreo's security is tighter and although those rooted apps see that codes exist, they cant open the service mode

I was able to open the menus with the dialer codes you gave me and turned on RCS but nothing happened?

I had the same experience, Phone INFO or Shortcut Master can't launch RIL service menu or IMS Settings anymore on Oreo. The dev is aware of the issue & hopefully will find a solution. I have VoLTE & Wifi calling enabled by CSC & they work fine but you need root in order to do so.
Could you please tell me the right cscfeature code to enable the VoLTE toggle?
