Hi. I am very ignorant in all Android aspects although determined.
I have an old Xoom 601 with horribly outdated Android, I wanted to update it at least to 4.4.2. To do it first I neet to root it, obviously. I was using those guides:
http://www.djsmobiles.com/2013/01/how-to-root-your-motorola-xoom.html#sthash.prmOVqGb.dpbs
https://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Motorola_Xoom/Flashing_Guide
But I have failed at the step
"Go in the newly created recovery (pressing vol down) at boottime." alternatively written
"When the device reboots press Volume Down and enter Clockwork Mod Recovery. "
See, when my xoom reboots after doing "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" step, and I press volume down, device doesn't enter anything resembling Clockwork Mod Recovery. Instead I see something like this:
"Starting RSD protocol support 3"
I am so ignorant I don't know where to go from there.
So, how can I actually enter the recovery? Thanks for help.
