Will flash this too. I can haz fastboot? Hope I don't mess up anything (I shouldn't,AFAIK mario's howto doesn't involve system partition,neither baseband (luckily))

No use, and although the picture guide is good,
normal users shouldn't do it, they don't need it
and experienced users will figure this out anyway

Fastboot is protocol used to update the flash filesystem in Android devices from a host over USB. It allows flashing of unsigned partition images. Its not useful for "General users".

I suppose flashing a KDZ "russian" way would loose the fastboot?

Hey guys I'm from the optimus v section. I've got one of the early versions of the optimus v with the unlocked bootloader and fastboot access but no key combo. I was gonna start some tests to try to compile the bootloader from source and flash it to my device.
I'm wondering if the lg program backs up the bootloader and the radio image?
