EDIT (9-22 -2014):
Swiftkey just keeps getting worse. I tracked down some older versions, it's amazing how bloated Swiftkey has become, at the time of this post the current version is 26MB. I switched to Google Keyboard for a while but I dislike the layout of symbols and numbers.

Version 3 is the last version with the option to adjust the prediction algorithm between the typing styles such as Rapid Typer or Precise Typer. If you don't use flow, this is the one to get.

NOTE: These are the paid versions, you must have paid for Swiftkey in the store for them to work. If you have auto-update on, be sure to turn it off as Play will auto update Swiftkey to version 5 if it gets the chance.

Got an email from dropbox saying, "X people who viewed your shared links were not on dropbox. Invite your friends to make sharing easier!" For those who don't know, Dropbox gives an additional 500MB of free space per referral and I could really use some. Original Post (4-4-2014):
Swiftkey Flow's prediction has gotten so bad that I've been looking for a new keyboard. Last week there was a thread on reddit that suggested disabling Trending Phrases. I tried that but did not notice any improvement. Today (April 3rd, 2014) SwiftKey released an update on Google Play. I installed it hoping things would improve. Instead, shortly after I became fed up with SwiftKey as it was still not able to make even one single coherent sentence using flow.
Before abandoning SwiftKey, I tried a few things, and happened to get it working better than ever so I thought I'd share!
Steps to Fix SwiftKey's Prediction:
Apparently SwiftKey over time becomes gummed up with all the junk and no longer works correctly. For me, the predictions are working better than ever after doing this. Sure there are a few things it has to learn now, but I'm going to make sure it only will ever learn from the data I actually type into it and only SMS texts. Not from Trending, Gmail, Facebook, etc.
Here's an example of how bad SwiftKeys prediction had gotten for me. You might understand why I was desperate to find a solution.

Before abandoning SwiftKey, I tried a few things, and happened to get it working better than ever so I thought I'd share!
Steps to Fix SwiftKey's Prediction:
- In SwiftKey Cloud settings, under CLOUD DATA, tap "Delete cloud account"
- Back out of SwitftKey, open Android's Application Manager and find SwiftKey.
- Tap, "Force stop" then "Clear data"
- Relaunch SwiftKey Keyboard, it will open the first time License Agreement, then launch the Initial Setup.
- The steps "1. Enable SwiftKey" and "2. Select SwiftKey" will already be completed.
- Tap step "3. Get better predictions", then tap "Sign in with Google" if you wish. (Caution: don't miss the "I agree to receive emails" checkbox)
- IMPORTANT PART: Do not Personalize the Predictions from your sent Email, facebook, or Twitter. I'm fairly certain this will only gum it up and make it worse
- Finish the setup then go back into SwiftKey settings. Now turn off the "Trending Phrases" under SwiftKey Cloud. Under the Advanced heading, you may also want to turn off Notifications.
- Finally, SwiftKey will no longer suck
Apparently SwiftKey over time becomes gummed up with all the junk and no longer works correctly. For me, the predictions are working better than ever after doing this.
