Can you help me please, i unlocked bootloader, then flashed magisk, patched the boot.img, rooted, and installed your recovery.
but when "adb device" my device is "Unauthorized" (yep debug usb is ON), and if i enter fastboot and "fastboot flash system system.img" it just -waiting for any device- and nothing happens

Same happened to me, i turned off usb debug, plugged phone into puter, turn usb debug back on and clicked ok. A dialogue box popoed up and i said to always connect or something like that. If that fails, click on the option below to revoke usb debugging autorisations and try again. Might need to restart phone

If I recall correctly, you have to download and install Samsung USB drivers on your PC for it to work.

Do you get the "unauthorized" warning while your phone is booted into android or in recovery? Because in recovery I don't think normal adb shell works, only sideloading signed apps and updates, that's with the stock recovery anyway, that "custom" recovery with fastboot is basically the same stock recovery just with fastboot feature added.

Hey I figured out a way to make fastboot work, and that took me like 5 seconds to google and I found the answer right away I also decided to flash Pixel on my phone today. So go to the Device Manager, then select your Android phone (your name will be different, since I am already using the correct drivers):

After that, right click on the device and click Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > then select these things as shown in the photo:

i did it, my problem was with usb fastboot drivers, in device manager when in fastboot my device was detected but with a triangle on meaning there was no correct drivers,
Samsung official drivers didn't work

this beautiful .bat did the job

- can i relock bootloader after flashing pixel experience?

- google wallet and banking app works?

- this image will be updated? is it safe to use without security updates?

Something is wrong with display brightness
Fingerprint ok but not fast
the rom is a bit laggy

bluetooth dont work, it pair devices then immediately disconnect, than reconnect again etc....can you help?

To me this is not good for a daily....

EDIT: after 2 days i give up,

- enormous battery drain (tried to reinstall or factory reset etc...)
- bugged bluetooth (sometimes works)
- no hotspot (not a big problem)
- random freezes\glitches
- poor wifi range compared to original (no wifi in my bedroom but good wit oneui)

Yes but your warranty is void.

They should work since you are not rooted.

Depends upon Google. It's safe to use for about 6 months then you should update.

Excuse the question, but where does this GSI come from? If they are generic images, can't I search the internet for a more recent version? Or has this been changed to be more compatible?

You just specified the wrong path when sideloading the system.img using adb.

Hi,
I've installed GSI 13 without the Google appstore. Does anybody know how to give an installation permission on GSI? I'm trying to install Fdroid.apk. But nothing happens. Seems all installations are rejected.

UPDATE: I can install from a external SD-card. But not from the internal card...
UPDATE 2: I can install F-droid on the external SD-card and then F-droid is asked for permission to install app. Then the apps are installed onthe internal card.

Doesn't work for me. The app quits. Open camera app works, but only frond camera. I think it is because I didn't install Google services so no GSF available.

Thanks for the hint!

I understand that rooting a phone is not advised by security specialists. So I would prefer the solution without rooting. That would bring me to just re-locking the boot loader. A locked boot loader would also increase the security of the phone. Years ago I was informed that this can course problems with TWRP. (I think wen you try to update, but I can't remember exactly).

Any suggestions on this matter?
