How to flash d2spr Lollipop Roms on the d2lterefreshspr (SPH-L710T Tri-Band Model)

Since you're not on a triband just flash the d2spr build, not the d2refresh build. You can run xposed on our ROM if you wish. We always recommend a clean flash, especially if coming from stock or any other ROM. Even if its Oct-L to Oct-M. ??

i have the d2spr file and my gapp 6.o, ok i see what your saying, i wouldn't know how to set that up. i don't understand "running exposed on our rom" let me flash this and ill let you know what happens. im interested in exposed for the different modules. however, am i going to find anything better than what you have in your build? yours is a very nice build i like it.

Well to be honest I'm not a big fan of xposed on custom roms but a lot of folks use it. We have a pretty good bit of tweaks & mods in tentacles settings & we're always adding things as we go. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the ROM. I think you'll be satisfied without xposed. ?

im sitting here staring at the screen as its backing p. haha i decided to do one more backup. thats 3 so i feel safe. haha. hey can software kill a phone? ive got a dead triband and i swear the recovery app i was working with, no, thats not right. i was working in recovery and when i exited to boot it died. is that possible? is there a weird reset like crossing the battery leads or something like that. on a computer you can pull the battery and cross the leads and it will wipe data out of the cmos. like for forgotten passwords. id love to get this going again. ok here we go.i hope you aren't too busy. i think you are right about exposed.

why do you suppose i would be having trouble with gapps installing and then not being recognized by the rom? i watched it install twice. im watching it again. this is different but i have to remember this is not a triband.

This tutorial worked for me on my VM 710T. Thank you! To get it to work, I first modified the zip file on post 2 so that it would include all the correct symlinks listed in post 1. As for modifying the rom, i realized that AICP does not have an "assert" first line in script-updater, so i didn't touch the script-updater. However, after initially failing to get service, in the rom build-prop I replaced the "d2spr" with "d2letrefreshspr" as suggested in post 1. This step was crucial for me to get service with AICP. The order of flashed zip files was: 1. AICP with modified build-prop which replaced all "d2spr" with "d2letrefreshspr", 2. Flash Gapps, 3. Flash the modified Modem Symlink (i personally do not know if the zip will work without modifying, even though it does not include all the correct symlinks included in the first post). 4. Flash Apn Fix for VM. Success

Funny i just flashed aicp on my refreshspr and service came right away only flashed symlink zip was not necessary to do anything else. No need to change anything in build prop
