All good actually....The whole idea is to get ROM's new roms working, I flashed the latest BAJA ROM and it is working on slot 1. Since I have already done a factory reset on the stock slot, its no biggie now. I like BAJA I may move it to my stock slot and then when I want to trade it in I can just ODIN the NC4 Firmware pit and that should take me back to stock right?Pow off
Hold vol down, home, power
Once in Download, cancel.
If this doesn't work, start over at beginning of NC4 update and follow each step

Hmmm. Odd.I must be having the same problem with dev host. Everything I try to download from there times out.
There must be a problem with your PC or ISP. I just checked it and it downloaded in about 1 second.I must be having the same problem with dev host. Everything I try to download from there times out.
WHen you say you're on NC4, do you mean OFFICIAL OTA NC4? If so, you CAN NOT revert to MJE. Only NC2 leak (from Beans) allows you to revert to MJE.Hi everyone, I appreciate anyone's time or input on this:, I have scanned through all 19 pages and have an odd problem:
I am currently on 4.4.2 Build KOT49H.N900VVRUCNC4
I am trying to revert to MJE since I can't get BajaRom to load at all. When I follow the steps outlined in OP I keep getting an ABOOT error:
sw rev check fail fused 3 binary 2
At that point I have to Odin the NC4 TAR file and it loads back to stock NC4 no problem (however even rooted I cant load a new rom in SS it just goes to a black screen)
If I try to ODIN the MJE TAR (even with the PIT file) it will give me the aboot error. Not sure what to do at this point I think i've exhausted my logical options unless someone noticed something i overlooked?
Thanks a million for any input or suggestions.
CRAPPPPPPPPP I just had an "ah ha" moment when I read this. *sigh*WHen you say you're on NC4, do you mean OFFICIAL OTA NC4? If so, you CAN NOT revert to MJE. Only NC2 leak (from Beans) allows you to revert to MJE.
IF you are NOT on the OTA, then I'm afraid I don't anything about the "ABOOT ERROR:" you are getting.
Again, my fail safe plan B (if you are on anything BUT the Official OTA NC4) is to use Odin and start fresh with MJE tar (no need to flash the PIT file unless you are having existing partition issues)...
Sorry I can't be more help than that. Good luck, let me know how it turns out!
You can flash cust NC4 based roms, you just can not revert to MJE.CRAPPPPPPPPP I just had an "ah ha" moment when I read this. *sigh*
I had just finished a 12 hour work day when I came home to try and "fix" my phone so I went surfing the forums and found this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483380
So, it appears I flashed this file from that post:
Model: SM-N900V
Model name: GALAXY Note 3
Country: USA (Verizon)
PDA: N900VVRUCNC4
It looks like i am on the offical NC4 stock locked bootloader. SO I suppose this means I can root (which I can) but can not ever load a custom ROM?
lol... does not pay to try and flash roms while sleepy :silly:
That is Download mode. Are you flashing a . TAR file in Odin or flashing a custom rom?it wont get passed this![]()
Thanks for the suggestion.hey thanks for this thread, add to the OP that you should only flash the stock rom for the firmware you are currently running (bootloade) see this thread for stocks:
