HOW TO FLASH FIRMWARES USING MOBILE ODIN

DO IT AT YOU OWN RISK As i have tested works perfect for me

Step 1: Download the firmware

It must be in .tar.md5 format which usually is the case with official firmware. If you have a .zip or .7z file, you can use Zip Archiver (free at the Google Play Store) to unzip it directly on your phone. You should see the .tar.md5 file after. You can also unzip using winraron your computer and transfer the file to your internal/external SD card later.

Step 2: Transfer the unzipped file to your device.

You can place it in your internal or external SD card. Personally, I set up a folder at the internal SD card titled "Stock Firmwares or Flashoholic " and segregate firmwares and kernels in different folders.
Step 3: Launch Mobile ODIN

Grant SuperUser access when prompted.
Step 4: Select "Open file ..."

Choose the firmware you unzipped from Step 1. You will be informed about the partitions that Mobile ODIN automatically set for you. Select "OK".

Selected a wrong file? No worries. Select "Clear all" to clear all partitions.

Step 5: Make sure EverRoot is ticked (Pro users only)

That is, if you want to root your firmware during installation. The boxes that you can check are as follows:

  • Enable EverRoot
  • Inject Superuser
  • Inject Mobile ODIN
Otherwise, leave these boxes unticked.
Step 6: Select "Wipe data and cache" and "Wipe Dalvik cache"

This will perform a "clean wipe" which is often necessary for installing firmwares.
Step 7: Select "Flash firmware"

When asked if you should check the md5 signature, have it checked. This will make sure that the file you have is complete and not broken. After this step, your phone will automatically shut down and reboot to Mobile ODIN's custom Recovery Mode. The installation process will take place. Just sit back and wait for it to finish :)

Ive never heard of it failing, it even warns you if you have less than 50% battery.

Its user friendly , just incase during the Mobile odin flash if there is any issues after flash such as boot Loop tried to reboot the phone if still same then will have to use the other option Pc Odin :good:

so Far i've flashed many firmwares and Kernels no issues found even when the battery is below 50% but dont take risk suggest to have atleast battery of 70%+ :)

I can only speak from my experience, so I could be wrong - but I tried flashing from mobile Odin once and never again. I flashed, and the phone booted OK and then I realized it doesn't recognize SIM card. After more examination, I found that it doesn't have IMEI, baseband, nothing in connection with GSM... Wifi worked fine. So I flashed the SAME ROM with normal Odin and luckily it got the IMEI and everything back but I know I'll stay away from mobile Odin....

First of mobile odin can't flash efs as well sensitive partition like bootloader pit etc, so mobile odin is much safer then pc odin.
What you got network issue can be happen with many things, anything wrong happened with files in efs folder can cause it that's why it is always recommend to have efs backup if your device is rooted.
Certain limitations of mobile odin are
-you need working device, you can't flash on soft bricked device.
-needs root
- it can't flash bootloader, so if rom have patched or updated bootloader, you have to flash separately
Advantages are
-you can flash zip without having cwm (so no flash counter raise if you flash only mods)
- safer than odin bcoz it can't flash pit, bootloader. So even you wrongly flash a rom for different device, you can easily revive it from soft brick
-you can flash isolated components from rom file like recovery, kernel, csc, modem

This was modem problem. In that case u have to reflash modem only.
