I haven't seen this mentioned but if you want to do a complete wipe of your internal sdcard (not external) for a super clean ROM install just do the following. It will remove everything in the sdcard so be sure to save or backup anything important (including app data), you can always restore it later. After wiping there is no chance of anything being there to conflict with something else when changing or installing different ROMs. I'm not responsible for the files you may erase if you didn't put them somewhere for safe keeping.

In SafeStrap recovery go to "Advanced" > "Teminal Command" > Scroll down and tap "sdcard" > at the bottom right hit "Select" > then type the following command and hit "Go".

rm -rf ./*

Earlier i used to delete them manually...thanks for the short cut...

But still there are lots of files remaining in the Internal memory and it would be even better if someone unlocked our bootloader so that we can clean wipe our Internal memory also...

The system gets wiped when you do a wipe in recovery before an install. The internal storage (sdcard) gets completely wiped with this and there are only 3 or 4 files left which are needed to function properly.

I take it that I would have to Odin my rom over as it wipes everything on internal sd card? I ask this as I am unable to install roms from external sd card for some odd reason. This started when I updated to NC2 and Safstrap 3.72 beta.

You need SafeStrap 3.75 and you should be fine, but yes, you would have to Odin a ROM otherwise.

Yeah, I have updated to 3.75. I was hoping that my issue with installing a rom from external sd card would work with the new beta version, but no joy. I figured if it is doing a full wipe, it would also wipe the download folder as well. So Odin made the only logical solution to get a rom installed after the wipe. Just like to have clarification before moving forward. I have hard bricked an s3 twice already and now very, very careful before doing anything anymore. LOL
