I need some help here guys, I have tried everything and its coming down to you have to be able to get asked for msl on diag and its the only one it works on believe me i have tried everyrthing and this phone has phone info as a damn device administrator. Thats the key if you can manipulate the permissions somehow and disable phone info from the admin then well be able to crack your phones but as of know only way is with msl from ##3424# sorry guys im still trying dont worry. And one more thing I think something will have to be done in factory mode dialer as well could be wrong, but would love some devs input and assistance on this if possible, Thanks.

You know I worked hard at finding a solution, which I was able to do before anyone else and you want to sit here and say things like this. This METHOD only worked for you if you had an option for msl in diag menu, every single person who could asscess that menu asking for msl was sucsessful in getting msl. I dont see you spending alot of your free time trying to help the community all I see is you being selfish because this method didnt apply to you. If you think you can do better than go and write you own solution. People that act like you on these forums should really be greatfull for everything everyone is doing to help you.

I for one and have already mentioned your name in the other MSL thread I am thankful for all the work you've done leading up to this break through for me and i believe i can speak for the community at large do appreciate the work and countless hours of effort you've put on this and sharing it with XDA community your surely one of a kind ROBHUFFSTER!:):)

Some people just sit and wait for others to find a solution. So dont waste your energy on them. All the credit to get the MSL goes to you. The one click MSL finder also uses the same method as you have mentioned, but it's a graphic oriented process with everything working at one click.

Robhuffster, there's always going to be people like this.
Don't worry about people like that.

Though it didn't work for me, because I happened to have one of those crazy MI3 builds that couldn't ask for MSL on the 3424, but indeed I am grateful for your contributions of not only your valuable time but also for your knowledge of things that others have had no clue of where to even start.

No they are two totally different solutions and work 100% differently.

next make sure you are on mtp+adb, I havent been able to get it working if diag is enabled so dont enable it.

ok now open the file GETMSL.bat, and its going to run a logcat in the background thats fineas long as its running thats all you need.

VERY IMPORTANT, if you dont do this exactly it wont work ok.

DIAL ##3424# not ##3282# only ##3424# will work, and then click edit or enter msl and then MAKE SURE you put 123456 as the password. Nothing else works that I have tried so it has to be 123456 and then click ok.

Its going to give you a bad spc error, thats fine press back till your at the home screen and sit and wait for 5 seconds. After that unplug your cable from the phone and read the command prompt for your msl. THIS WORKS but you have to follow exactly.

How exactly am I suppose to open the GETMSL.bat file my computer won't open it
