It doesn't help. I am not worry about that. Sometimes, my phone doesn't ring when someone calls. I did factory reset and wiped it . It still doesn't help. Today I installed a new rom from ezkat 4.4.2 and new modem. Hope it helps.

And what happens if you setup a new apn? And sometimes it's good to remove the old apn's, when entering your new one ok.
And make sure you're entering the exact info. Or it will not WORK!!

Hopefully the new modem well help your connection problems...[emoji48]
If not then might be hardware based issue.

I have tried every apn provided on the first page and the only apns that do anything are those that are phone. pta does not work. Of those working they only provide a hspa connection with no bars. I give up! If anything else is out there that I should try, I would love to know.

You might want to explain your problem first, then maybe someone can help or point you in the right direction my friend.

Hello,
Using Dn4 on att note ii i316. I have created an apn for each given in thenfirst post. For some reason, I can only get H +. Also, the display for bars in the notification bar next to the H+ shows no signal i have fkashed latest updates from sawdoctor. Everything is running well but there seems to be some issue with the radio. I have fkashed angi 4.3.3. So wifi is working.

DN4 7105 isn't a fully working atm. So what's broke well be fixed down the road.
Changing apn's won't help fix the signal issues.

Apn don't after your gps status.

You might need to update your modem.

And it could be the Rom you're using right now, causing your bad gps reception...
Any advice as far as how to do that on a Samsung Galaxy Note 2? The GPS on this phone is honestly the worst I've ever seen on ANY phone... old or new. Other than the wonky GPS, I do like the Note 2.

Ok if you need help, then I'll need more info from you.
Question was the gps messed up when you got the phone?

Phone model=?
Modem installed=?
Bootloader=?
Previous Rom=?
Rom on the device now=?

No. It worked fine when I got it. It has never been great as far as the GPS locking quickly and staying locked, but the problem really started when I dropped my phone outside screen first and cracked it. Ever since then it was giving me SO much hassle.

So I had the screen fixed. I thought after I fixed the screen, "Maybe if I take my phone back to the device repair shop and tell him my GPS has been acting up ever since I got the phone back from them (so they would feel obligated to fix it for free). So when he said ok, that he would take it apart, made sure that EVERY THING (especially the GPS connector pins) were connected securely, then put together the phone again. It was working PERFECTLY after that.

So I guess the best thing to do if your GPS isn't working, isn't locking fast enough, isnt staying locked, keeps losing GPS signal, etc...is to take the phone apart, disconnect everything, then carefully put it back together tightly. My Note 2 GPS works wonders now! [emoji41]
