[HOW TO] Install Android OREO!!!!! (Snapdragon Only)

I downloaded the BQK2 firmware, I tried to flash it through odin while phone was in download mode and it wouldn't work. I also tried the vol+bix+pow and install update.zip but none of these would work and I'm still on BQK3-sprint.
I keep getting errors, I've searched throughout this page as well as all across google.
Even the people that are on Sprint, some aren't having issues with the CCT, VZW and ATT.


Was hoping someone could enlighten me on what I am doing wrong.

I was using the wrong ODIN. I went to odindownload . com and downloaded the V3.12 and it worked. Happy Camper!

I just erased the gear app restored to my phone and just sideloaded both gear app and plug in... I'm up and running.

Installed the latest and so far ran into 2 problems: 1. WiFi Calling for AT&T seems to hang saying its loading but never goes through and 2. the Samsung keyboard cannot download the Espanol ES keyboard. I assume 2. is more due to this being a beta but the WiFi Calling problem is new to me.

Yes. If you read the OP and do some searching here, you'll find all the steps you need.

Just installed the CQLB .. did NOT do full erase (data/cache) - reset .. everything seems to be running real smooth so far. My Gear 3 Frontier connected no issues .. same with my Gear 360. Have not received any Security errors at this time (knock knock knock).

Right now .. leaving this as is, will give it a hard testing over the next couple of days.

One quirk I seem to be having with the CQLB build .. the keyboard will pop up when exiting a program and back to like my Apps .. I'm in an area in qhich the keyboard would not be needed, but it's there !

Have not figured out yet how to stop that happening.

I think what I said is self explanatory !

If I went to CQLB .. would mean I was originally on BQK2 - OTA to BQL5 - then OTA to CQLB .. didn't erase anything .. did not do Factory Reset after installing .. nothing.

Are you sure you don't have a Note8 clone? All the genuine firmware starts with N950U, not APR950U. That or you're trolling us.

Are you sure you don't have a Note8 clone? All the genuine firmware starts with N950U, not APR950U. That or you're trolling us.

I am fine, just figure it would help others out. The OP has nothing about the LATEST FW.
