How to install ColorOS 7 on my Chinese model? (PCMM00)

I am using the Chinese model in the U.S. I have the option to download the trial version of ColorOS 7, but it asks me to create an OPPO Account and get a verification SMS from a Chinese number, which I don't have.

Is there any other way to get the trial version? Will I be able to get the regular version by OTA, even though I'm in the U.S? If not, then I'm going to regret getting the Chinese version and probably sell it. :crying:

Would it not be easier to wait for the official release? The trial is very much in Alpha status and has too many bugs

Is the official release not out for anyone? I thought Oppo said we would get it in November (or was that the trial?)

Not sure how it's working. I have CPH1919 and am still with ColorOS 6.0 with December security update. So...technically an official update has happened.

Not heard of anyone having ColorOS 7 pushed officially yet.

Too many rumours going around regarding official releases. I'm just going to wait and not cry
