I'm using PixelExperience GSI.

Does updater work for you? I have two issues with it.
1) It stops the update when I move the app to background or when screen turns off.
2) When I make it run till the end, it says "Switched slot. OTA finalized.", but after reboot I get to the old system.
I tried switching the slot manually via fastboot but that didn't let me even boot.

EDIT:
I can't update via fastboot either. And I can't even flash the old one, which is weird to me. Is this a common issue?

when i try to root the rom with my patched boot.img . im stuck in the bootlogo from miui. the system dont start. i reflashed the original boot.img and he starts normaly. can someonehelp me please to root the gsi rom. my gsi is the CorvusOS

You're using PixelExperience GSI, right? Can you update your ROM via Updater?

I would say it is way colder than MIUI on average it only gets hot when fast charging or gaming which is expected.

If i use "fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img" this cmd i am facing error
"C:\adb\fastboot.exe: unknown option -- disable-verity"

I'm using GSI PixelExperience_arm64-ab-vndklite-12.0-20220208-UNOFFICIAL. It's really working good and it's my daily driver.
The missing auto brightness could be fixed with the Velis Autobrightness App. It passes SafteyNet, too
DT2W is not working, but I use GravityScreen App instead.
It's a lot of work if you switch from MIUI to GSI, but it's worth it.

I've tested all other GSi builds, and I had only trouble. I stick with PixelExperience

Auto brightness is working if you flash gsi over miui 13 i flashed it over miui 13.0.1 and it is working fine

The op not mention nothing about bootloader or custom recovery. Do I need a custom recovery? Do I need to unlock bootloader?

Booloader unlocked required. No custom recovery is needed though.

How do i fix 5g ?

In "Settings/Phh Treble Settings/IMS features":
1) Install IMS Apk for qualcomm vendor (if you didn't do this yet)
2) Enable Request IMS newtork
3) Enable Force the presence of 4G Calling setting

In your Dialer app:
1) type *#*#4636#*#*
2) In testing menu open Phone Information
3) Set Prefered Network Type to anything including "NR" (NR = New Radio = 5G)

Xiaomi 11T Pro. But most GSIs should work on both.
